Leifiel was to help with the repairs after his classes, that has been decided, as well has having his mother told of what he did. He winced briefly, already knowing that a long lecture would be waiting for him later tonight. Ah, such was the cost for helping the other professors!
As he still had roughly two more hours of free period (due to having his Advanced Arcana class cancelled), Leifiel could get in some advance studies for the next class: Advanced Divination. Which would end up with him staring at a crystal ball for hours. In the cafeteria. Over a bowl of mash.
That thought alone was already making Leifiel happier.
As for Amilia, well, he'll leave the instructors to deal with her. She did cause some of the damage as well.

Amilia would continue her conversation for a bit, until an instructor approached her and they communicated, her writing her words on a piece of paper and listening to the instructor. The damage she caused was purely superficial, and would be easily cleaned with little effort, unlike Liefiel's giant holes in the floor.
Still, she'd agree to help clean up at least her share of the mess, before moving to depart. On the floor was the parcel what held the box lunch purchased for Liefiel. It's contents were strewn on the floor as she was forced to drop it to save it's recipient, and was now unfit to be eaten by anyone. She'd sigh sadly and crouch to clean up the mess, looking downcast as she did. She didn't like wasted food, and couldn't help but blame Lief for it.

Now that the crisis was over and the appropriate tasks for cleaning up were assigned, Leifiel kept his wand away and looked for a mirror so he could fix his hair. He did find one, albeit a bit cracked from the chaos earlier, but it'll do. As he went for the mirror, he passed by Amilia, who was busy cleaning up the spilled contents of the lunch parcel.
Wait a minute...
Leifiel paused when he finally caught a glimpse of the contents, as he was too stubborn even to take a peek earlier. It appeared that the lunch consisted of hash browns.
It wasn't as if the world was going to end right then and there, but that was the most prominent expression on Leifiel's face at that moment. Now if only he'd known, but it was too late.
"...Why hadn't you stated what was inside that parcel, Amilia Orenda?" The question was oddly quiet in contrast to the stark cold tone he was using just a while ago.

Amilia wouldn't pay Liefiel much mind, at least until he addressed her. She was surprised, and would look up from her cleaning. To answer his question, he had to sit the items down first, but she'd then stand and face him. <I tried at first, but you would not give me a chance in your unwillingness to accept it, and eventually I just wanted you to just take it. I know you like potatoes, I see them in nearly every meal you eat here; It's why I got them for you.> Being unable to talk made one very observant, and such a small thing as a fondness for spuds was not lost on her. Since the two shared various classes, he brought more attention so she happened to notice more readily.
Her reply finished, she'd turn and kneel back down, picking up the last of the spilled contents and standing, putting the lid on the box with plans to properly dispose of the soiled contents later on.

The disappointment at seeing the hash browns gone to waste (there was more disappointment at himself however) was changed with a look of surprise when he learned what she knew about him. Was his fondness for potatoes that very obvious? Or did his mother tell things to other people? Whichever the case, it made Leifiel feel very self-conscious.
Maybe the hash browns were still salvageable? However, considering how Leifiel made roots crawl out from under the floor, they're most probably in an unsanitary state by now. That and it would be embarrassing if he took them now.
Oh, well. What's done is done.
With a self-conscious cough, Leifiel then said, "Perhaps next time you would tell me what the contents were instead of suggesting that they may cause me allergies. That is for me to decide." It was a genuine suggestion...which may be interpreted as a nag by some.

Well, at least Lief was being more friendly now. Who knew potatoes would melt his frozen facade? <Sorry.> She'd sign with one hand, tucking the parcel under her arm. <They were with some meats that I hadn't seen before, but I was told they were good.>
She'd pause, go as though to 'say' something, but then stop, not doing so.

Leifiel raised an eyebrow at that. Meat he was fine with, even though it wasn't a regular fare at home. He then made a disgruntled frown as the mention of meat also reminded him of a certain idiot brunette...Always spouting things about steaks like it was the best thing in the universe!
"You need not worry about things of less concern, Amilia Orenda." Leifiel replied, shoving that certain idiot's face clear off his mind with a satisfied huff. He then noticed the pause. While he was curious as to why, his face didn't show that. "Hm?" he asked in order to have her continue.

Amilia would pause again and shake her head. <It's nothing.> She'd reply. She'd then glance over to the side as though addressed and make a strange expression, before signing.
<Actually. I was wondering if you wanted to join me for lunch? I can replace the lunch box, if we hurry, they may still have some left.>

Leifiel considered pressing the question, but that probably wouldn't be worth the effort. Instead he heaved a short breath and brushed some stray bangs away from his face. His hair is definitely in need of a thorough combing to get it back to its pristine state.
As he was busy fixing his hair, Leifiel paused when Amilia made the offer. Eating at the same table with others isn't exactly his cup of tea. For him, it was uncomfortable the way others would talk instead of eat (which beats the purpose of eating) and oftentimes, the conversations would end up becoming personal. The scowl returned to his face at that. "I appreciate the offer, but no, thank you." he replied.

Liefiel's refusal to have lunch with her stung a little more than it should have. There was a reason she had originally decided to not ask. She'd just nod once and turn to go, not even bothering to say goodbye.
So much for progress.

Leifiel watched her leave without saying even a word. Why wouldn't he? He'd already told her 'no' (politely at that) and meant it. He'd see no reason why he'd have to repeat it again if she insisted on her offer. Even as Amilia hadn't gone far yet, he'd already turned around in the opposite direction to clear some of the debris from the hall, so it'd be less work for him later. With that done, he then sought out that mirror again.
With his hair back to its pristine state, Leifiel straightened his clothes and headed for the cafeteria. Finally.

Amilia would be in the cafeteria, sitting alone at her table, though she appeared to be talking to someone, moving her lips like one normally would if they had a voice. It was as if she was carrying out a normal conversation, but there was just her.
She'd notice Lief's entrance, but she didn't think he would have changed his mind in the short time they were separated.

The walk to the cafeteria was rather uneventful, compared to earlier (when he was with someone else). Because of that, Leifiel's theory regarding companions brought about mostly trouble was pretty much concrete in his mind now. He couldn't help but wonder how his morning could've went if he was left alone. Bah, if only he could see that particular possibility!
He managed to get some food in the midst of the lunch crowd and found a seat, although he had to share it with somebody else...Even then, he occupied the farthest side of the table, his small size making it easy for him to squeeze into such a small space.
While he tucked into his food (sausages, peas and a big bowl of mashed potatoes as usual), Leifiel took out a small crystal ball from his bag and started practicing divining. Poking at it as if something would pop out.

Amilia would keep casting glances to Lief, returning to her conversation. One would almost think she was 'talking' about him, though to who? She insisted on behaving as though someone was sharing the table with her.
She would sigh gently and finish her food, before resuming her conversation with her unseen companion.

If Amilia (or anybody) were watching or even looking at Leifiel, that went unnoticed. Once he'd started on a task, he'd concentrate on it with a focus strong enough to crumple a brick wall. Figuratively. Once he'd eaten about half his food, the little redhead started gazing into his crystal ball, staring past the shiny glass-like surface and into the hazy depths of the orb.
What should he look for? Something important...or completely random? What could be inside that girl's head? Well, that's a good thing to a---
Leifiel suddenly became rigid, his eyes turning gold as they stared far beyond the depths of the orb.
dark shrouds twists and turns the depths of the forgotten a streak of green...
To others, it may seem like Leifiel was staring far too deeply into the crystal ball. Normal fare, that is, if one could see past the curtain formed by his hair.
