[EDIT: Your resident Admin\Amilia player didn't realize for several posts she was in the wrong account. Apologies.]
She knew he hadn't eaten enough, that was why she had used her spare half hour to retrieve him the lunch, and would stubbornly refuse to take it back. She didn't pay any mind to the growing onlookers, as she was often stared at when talking to seemingly nothing.
She would let Liefiel insist he didn't need it, despite the fact she knew he did, and in reply she would just smile warmly at him and turn to depart to their next class, signing with one hand: <We will be late.>

The nerve! The hand that held the parcel was shaking rather visibly as Leifiel's scowl deepened. He had already stated his thoughts and yet...
Leifiel turned to look at the onlookers and most of them dispersed upon seeing the expression on his face. He will not be messed with, not by her or anyone, and that is final!
With the parcel still in his hand and with a dignified snort, Leifiel followed after Amilia, but only because that was the shortest way to the west wing. He'd be ready to drop the unwanted parcel unto her desk.

Amilia would walk along the path in silence. She could almost feel the frustration emanating off of Lief as he followed behind her, though she paid it no mind. She didn't understand why he was so resistant to a free meal. Wasn't he hungry? There was nothing shameful in accepting a meal, was there?
They'd approach their classroom, only to find the door locked and a note posted on the door.
CLASS CANCELED DUE TO SEVERE CLASSROOM DAMAGE.
Amilia would look at the note for a moment, then to Liefiel. <Well, now you have time to eat.>

The way to the Advanced Arcana classroom was shrouded with a tense air, although Leifiel was the only one really feeling that. And why not? He'd already had a stressful start to his day, then there was the smog covering the sky and now he had to deal with a mute classmate who could potentially be 'touched in the head'.
All because he refused to accept the food she'd offered him. Well, she did say that he might be allergic to the food, but then again, he really wouldn't know if that was indeed the case. Still, he's not about to accept any sort of charity, not when he's sure he could handle himself!
He'd went this way for some many times already that he'd noticed that the classroom door didn't make the usual sound whenever it's opened. Puzzled out of his stubborn thoughts, Leifiel looked up and saw the note posted on the door.
"What...?"
'Severe classroom damage'? What could have caused it? And why were there no prior announcements regarding this? Leifiel's mind was bombarded with internal complaints, those he would be more than happy to present to the school officials. This was an outrage!
And then there's that woman.
Leifiel didn't look very much amused, especially at her message. With the calmness as the one before an incoming storm, he reached for her hand and placed the parcel onto it. "No." he flatly said to her face as he went on his way towards the mess hall.

The smell of smoke was still lingering in the air. Whatever happened to the classroom was recent, possibly even as recent as a few hours ago. The night and early morning classes were always covering more dangerous material, so it was likely something got out of hand. Though for the classroom to be closed because of it was something more common in the Alchemy department, not the arcana.
Still, most of the subjects covered in the advanced arcana classes was stuff Amilia already knew through her lessons with her father, so one missed class did not weigh heavily on her mind. She'd give a small start as her hand was grabbed and the lunch box was thrust into her grasp, and she'd look after him as Lief stormed off, absolutely refusing to accept her good will. She'd frown gently, and follow after him, hoping maybe he'd change his mind.
As they moved towards the cafeteria section, there would be yelling and panic as students barreled towards them, as though running from something. She'd jog up to stand besides Liefiel and look to see what was happening. After the students came charging in a large and very agitated looking Hippogrif, which was making a right mess of the entire hall and blocking the only path to the side of the building where the cafeteria was.
The creature hadn't spotted them yet, as some instructors had arrived to try and wrangle the creature. It seemed it would be a while though, and faint sounds of chaos in the distance indicated that there was more than one loose. It looks like someone decided to either get careless or deliberately let loose the creatures from the zoology section.
Amilia would glance to Lief and sign one sentence. <Things are just a mess today, aren't they?>

That should show her, Leifiel thought smugly as he headed past the hallways towards the cafeteria. She should leave him alone by now, he'd hoped. Now with that annoyance out of the way (or so he wished), he started drafting a complaint in regards to the lack of announcements for damaged classrooms. The apparent laziness is so unfitting of the administrators!
Unfortunately, Amilia was following behind him, which Leifiel had no other choice than to ignore. He'd told her so many times already, he'd decided it wasn't worth the effort anymore. Maybe then she'd finally leave him alo---
---Chaos greeted him, it taking the form of a feathered beak-snapping menace and standing between him and a decent lunch. Leifiel brought his palm to his face and groaned. Was today his unlucky day?
He was not about to let even a berserk Hippogriff stand in his way, oh no. Swearing under his breath, not paying any attention to Amilia's presence, Leifiel drew out his wand and proceeded to head towards the creature.

As Lief tried to advance on the hippogrif, he would feel a pair of hands grab his arm and yank him backwards, away from the hippogrif.
The hall they were in broke into a series of four way passages, evenly placed along the hall as one walked past. To reach the visible hippogrif, one would have to walk past one of these cross roads. As soon as Lief stepped into one he would be yanked back, and just in time, as inches in front of his nose would be a second, significantly larger and much more irritated looking hippogrif. He might recognize this one as being the most dangerous and aggressive one in the school's possession; named Hilbert. It's beak was larger than Lief's head and one of them almost had a lunch, and it certainly wasn't the half-faerie.
Amilia would pull Liefiel back to safety rapidly, getting them out of the way of the aggressive creature. How she knew it was there was impossible to say, but what mattered was no one was hurt. For the time being.

Leifiel was sorting through the collection of spells in his head as he went. The instructors would need all the help they could get and who better than him? Restraining the Hippogriff seemed to be of highest priority and he had just the spell for that.
That is, if he wasn't yanked back so abruptly.
He would've snapped at whoever it was and cursed them for interfering, if it weren't for the second Hippogriff, Hilbert, nearly taking his head off. Quite a shocking scene as Hilbert was normally calm. As much as it could be anyway.
"Damn it!" Leifiel shouted as he yanked his arm away from Amilia. "Stop meddling!"

Amilia wasn't happy. She had just saved his LIFE and all he could say was 'stop meddling'. She gave him a glare worthy of his arrogance and shoved him aside, making a hand movement and summoning her magic of choice-wind. She'd hit Hilbert hard with a blast of wind, knocking the creature off its feet and down the hall, hard into the wall. Of course she ripped the curtains and sent wall decorations flying as she did so,[and likely messed up Liefiel's hair] but at least Hilbert was stunned for a moment, long enough for the instructors to step in.
She'd let out a breathy huff and look to an unoccupied spot near the hall and give it a nod.

Leifiel returned the glare with his own. How dare she give him that look? These things wouldn't have happened to him if she had just left him alone! And people wondered why he didn't have any friends; they were simply too much trouble.
He stumbled back a little at the shove, covering his face with his arm almost by reflex when Amilia cast a wing spell. After the wind died down and the Hippogriff had been thrown against a far wall, Leifiel shook his head (mainly to get his hair off his face) and cast one of his own spells as a follow-up. The floor shook as thick gnarly roots broke out of them and formed a cage around the Hippogriff.

Amilia was so fed up with Lief's cruelty to her, she didn't even care he was glaring back. She had done nothing but try to be nice to him. She brought him a lunch when he was clearly hungry, and had just saved his life, and all he could was blame her for being in the way. It was times like this she really wished she had a voice because she would have loved to just yell at him for being so stupid.
But she couldn't, so she wouldn't, and she also resisted the urge to smack him, because she was raised better than that. It did leave her with the issue on how to get Liefiel to stop being a jerk, though, which was beginning to look like an impossible task
She'd let out one more light sigh and glance to the caged hippogrif. She wouldn't lie, she was impressed. Though the damage to the floor was a little harder to fix compared to some tossed curtains.

One Hippogriff down it seemed, and hopefully so. If there are more than two, Leifiel figured the entire section of the academy would be demolished...As demonstrated by him and Amilia earlier. Still, repairing floor tiles is easier than bringing the dead back to life.
Leifiel wasn't aware of what Amilia was thinking about him, nor would he care if he was. In fact, he was convinced that was enough reason for her to stop following after him.
Back to the problem at hand, Leifiel reinforced the cage with a couple more roots and then went on towards the first Hippogriff, with nary a word to Amilia. He did make sure to be cautious around corners though.

Amilia had no other choice than to give up. Lief was bound and determined to keep her as far away from him as physically possible. She just gave up. She watched him approach the second hippogrif, which had already been fully detained by the staff as they had handled the second.
She turned her attention to the wall, beginning one of her silent conversations, looking frustrated and like she wanted to strangle something.

It looks like the crisis have been averted, as the first Hippogriff was detained by the instructors. Leifiel got into a conversation with one of them and ended up giving his report in regards to Hilbert. The instructor didn't look too pleased to learn of the damages made during the capture, but that was unavoidable. The little redhead then offered to help with the repairs, as it was the consequence of his decision.
It was delayed, but maybe now he can eat!

Amilia wasn't paying attention to Liefiel anymore, and was instead wrapped up in her conversation with the wall, still looking frustrated, but also had the expression of someone venting about their issues, and coping with them to a friend.
She'd sigh after a bit and glance over to see what Cranky McSnobby pants was doing.
