The Streets of Seria, normally busy with day to day life, were even more packed due to the harvest festival. Children ran around in their good clothes, playing with pinwheels and stuffed birds, girls running around with flower head-dresses and silk wings. Rows of vendors sold jewelry, dresses, food, beer, and toys. There were some stalls where there were games where children would be flocking to in awe.

There were some stages with performers on them, juggling, singing, doing small skits, and there was one that was showcasing exotic animals from all over the world, including tigers, monkeys, and birds as well as a bunch of others.

The air was filled with joy and laughter, smiles, and the smell of food.

This was the first Harvest Festival in awhile where he could actually go with someone that he knew! Caden, dressed up as a little green elf, was beaming. Reuben was there, Uncle Isaac was there, and Julian and Lapis were there! This was going to be a fun day! He hat promptly attached himself to Reuben for now, not letting go of his brother's hand, as he looked around with interest.

The last few years he'd come here, he'd been given lots of snacks by people that thought had had been cute. Not anymore! He was going to be having lots of fun and watching everything with his family!

<sub>Benedict wore the nicest thing he could afford at this point, which would be nice brown pants, his black boots, as well as a poet's shirt and a bow tie that he had to ask someone to tie for. Either way, he looked very nice despite his lack of money, but what could he do?

Besides, he wanted to use some of the money Andy gave him to buy a proper dark brown fractal stitched leather saddle for Lila, some little bells to put on a new dark brown harness. Lila, thanks to being spoiled by the vet some time ago, sported a new haircut, as well as a tail braid, along with her body being washed.

Clearly Benedict spoiled his horse more than he. And Lila loved it, despite the now mostly healed injury. At least people would get out of the way and he would have a good view of everything.

"Beer! Have a beer!" Some guy thrusted a frothy mug of beer into his hands. Ben looked at it, smelled it, frowned, but then took a big gulp. Before spitting it out (hopefully on someone, ahaha) and coughing incessantly.

That's gross, Master Benedict. Keep that in your mouth.</sub>

And somehow, Reuben had been dragged out to the Harvest Festival. He wasn't much of a crowd person, and he normally would avoid fun things like this like the plague, but there wasn't much he could have done. Caden's eyes had pleaded with him, and he couldn't exactly say no to the kid. It would have upset more than just Caden.

Which was why Reuben was dressed up in a nice coat, with a really nice shirt and pants underneath that he had purchased specially for this occasion. If it meant that Caden would be happy, then he would do it. Wearily, he glanced over at Isaac near them. The man seemed quite cheerful and delighted to be here, and looked like he could everything.

Maybe he could at least talk with someone. Would Andy even be here? It would have to be in disguise.

<sub>Andromeda was also dragged along for the occasion, which would make things worse for him. He'd only gone along because the girls wanted to and Cepheid could sell his maps as well. Either way, Andy had to find ways to hide amongst the crowd.

He was used to his typical undershirt and black coat that he was sure that nobody would recognize him, especially since Godwine put makeup on his scar, and he wore a dark colored bowler hat to hide his spiky brunette hair.

He'd managed to snag a nice looking dark brown tailcoat with brass buttons, as well as dark brown slacks, dark shoes, and a white shirt. He hoped it would at least let him blend in, and he decided to bring a set amount of money in his pockets in case little thieves came up.

Either way, he was just as awkward and lost in the crowd as Reuben was.</sub>

<sub>Nerys would spend time with Sine until Cepheid went to bother her for attention. She felt pretty modest, though, compared to the elaborate frilly pink dress that Selena wore as well as her hair all tied up, make up and everything. Godwine was just as fancy, even wearing a corset and a dress that puffed out like in one of those Renaissance festivals. Dani wore her own specially tailored dress to emphasize her hips more than her large muscly arms.

Nerys just wore the costume she made as The Star Man's assistant, with the mask, and her hair was pulled back so she felt even smaller. She wore the silky cape over her and it was hooked in the front by a large star button she had bought days before the festival.

Sine wore a silk blue dress that was bunched up in the back and had extravagant patterns around her top and hem. Various black and gold patterns decorated her own dress and she was holding the hand of Tangent, who looked like a miniature man with his coat and top hat.

Both girls were admiring some jewelry, not paying attention to the surroundings. Lucky for Andy, Sine was without Frances as he had to take care of some patients.</sub>

Cepheid walked on the Serian streets, in his The Star Man costume, as normal, laughing and joking merrily with men and children. He was peddling charts, yes, but he was mostly there to have fun like everyone else.

Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of two familiar faces. Caden and Reuben. Deciding to make the boy's day, he turned and called out, walking up to the boy. "Ah, Caden!~" He greeted, holding his arms out for all to see. "How are you, lad! It's been a dog's age!~ Have you grown?"

Yes, if Caden wanted to, he was more than welcome to hop into Ceph's arms and be held by The Star Man.

Julian was also present, holding the hand of his little girl, who was dressed happily in the manner of a fairy, a smile plastered on her face. She was shamelessly dragging her father around, here and there, and the older blonde man was chuckling bemusedly as she did so.

But suddenly, out of nowhere, he was yanked right into the path of some spewed beverage, and had some beer sprayed on his jacket. Lapis stopped and looked to see what had ceased her father's movements and she saw he was getting over the shock of what had happened. She then glanced over to the perpetrator and giggled. "Heheh. Hi Father Benny!" She smiled.

Julian looked up. "Ah, hello lad. First time trying beer I assume?" Julian was normally a jovial man, but it was clear he was just a little upset that he got covered in that sour brew.

Everyone was there~! Reuben, Isaac, Father Benedict, Julian, and Lapis! And now Andy and Nerys had shown up as well. The little boy was beaming happily, when he saw Cepheid. Dressed in his Star Man costume. He let out a small squeal of happiness when the other remembered him and walked over to him to actually talk to him.

"Star Man~!"

The kid ran over to him, staring up at him happily and holding out his arms for the other to pick him up if he so desired.

<sub>Benedict flushed in embarrassment when he realized that he had sprayed beer all over Julian. He then looked around to try and find something to clean him up with and then pulled out a handkerchief to give to him.

"I'm so sorry Mr. Shard." And it looks like Cepheid and Nerys had appeared and everyone else too. He felt a bit awkward being on his horse, but Lila was loving it. Caden was here! But now he was grabby handing to Cepheid.

Which made her jealous. Nobody gives anybody else attention to her but Caden! She'd just give an unamused look to Cepheid before looking around. Oh hello Andy! The whole family was here now!</sub>

Reuben chuckled as Cepheid appeared out of nowhere dressed in his costume and greeted Caden by name. Though the Star Man had every reason to dote on Caden, with the kid being his nephew's half-brother, it was still funny to see the little kid get excited. He chuckled a bit as Benedict got beer all over poor Julian.

"Nice aim, Ben." Noticing that Caden was safe with Cepheid, he slipped over to where Andy and Nerys were.

"Hey there... Nerys, Pops."

Isaac meanwhile just grabbed another beer and swigged it down, before handing another cup to the nearest person to him - whether it be Benedict or Julian. "You only live once! C'mon, live a little more!"

<sub>Andromeda was very nervous and quite unsure of what to do. He would have to keep his bowler hat on as he had unmistakeable spiky brunette hair, and even worse, Cepheid now had it too since he cut his hair. Though everybody seemed to have started to congregate around Benedict and his horse, Andy would naturally be there.

"Hey..." andy certainly felt out of place there, and even worse is that, again, Sine was there. Seriously, everyone liked to make his life awkward. Granted, Benedict seemed to not like the alcohol, so he would relinquish it from him... Only for Reuben's uncle, who's already buzzed, to give him some more.

<sub>Nerys looked up from her jewelry observing to see that the familiar white shape of Lila was nearby, and she would immediately grab Sine's hand to drag her over, if only to troll Andy, and Sine would then have to drag Tangent along. Even then as soon as they approached the guys, Tangent would point and giggle at Isaac, who was being silly to him.

"No, no, Tan. Don't point at other people, it's rude." Sine fretted. of course she would look up, see Andy like that, and fight the urge to laugh out loud. Andy is the LAST person she'd see dressing formally... okay maybe the second to last. Crash would be the last.

"Hi~!" Nerys spoke up underneath her mask and then went to hug Reuben, Isaac, Lila, Ben (somehow), and Andy all in that order. Tangent would try and copy Nerys.</sub>

Yes, Caden, you can brag to all your little friends that the Starman gladly held you on his hip. He winced slightly as the boy squealed, and picked up the child, looking over to Reuben and the others.

He couldn't help but chuckle as poor Mr. Shard got doused in beer, and walked up closer to the lot of them, letting Caden cling and ask as many questions as he wanted.

He looked over to his brother and was glad he was wearing a mask, as Andromeda would smack him silly if he could see the goofy grin on his twin's face.

Caden didn't have too many friends close to his age, outside of little Lapis of course, due to being such a shy kid. However, he was still going to be happy and tell some people that the Star Man held him! He wrapped his arms around the man's neck, almost fainting from the sheer excitement, and looked over at the others.

"Are you doing anything special today, Mister Star Man~?"

Or was he just enjoy the festivities. He giggled a bit as poor Mr. Shard got covered in beer. Oh dear, he was going to freak out.
