<sub>Despite visibly blushing over the fact that he spewed beer all over the poor man, Benedict was happy to see that Caden was enjoying the attention that he was getting from his step uncle, and Isaac had appeared... YOLO, please. Either way, he had even more beer, and Lila couldn't help but snort in pleasure at that.

"Hey you all. How has everything been?" It's just nice to see all of what's been going on and how his entire family is now together. Benedict actually had a family and it felt great.

Lila just wanted attention, and nobody's giving it to her. She is a very unhappy horsey.</sub>

Julian stopped short with a startled expression as he was sprayed with beer, and stood stock still for a moment before it occurred to him what actually happened.

While he stood there, dripping in second-hand beer, it looked like a few of the others who had rescued Lapis were arriving. "...It's alright." He said to Ben's apologies, pulling out a kerchief and wiping his face clean of the offending liquid. "First time trying it, I presume?" He wasn't acting as cheerful as normal, but he also just got sprayed with beer. Give him some time.


Lapis looked up at everything that was going on and saw Reuben, who she recognized, and a man in a bowler hat who looked somewhat familiar, but she couldn't place. When Reuben called the bowler-hat guy 'pops', it connected.

"UNCLE GRUMPY!" And with that, little fairy wing clad Lapis began trying to climb Andy's leg.

Reuben knew better than to say 'Andy' or 'Andromeda' out in public where everyone could hear - so Andy was stuck with the title of 'Pops' for now, despite how much he hated it. He just shook his head as Benedict apologized to Julian and as Caden fanboyed all over Cepheid, who seemed to be very amused over all of that.

"Fine, I think. Colder months are approaching, so I'll be needing to stock up. Other than that, good. No one's been shooting me or chasing after me."

No bounty hunters, thank goodness. He hugged Nerys back as she hugged him, smiling at her. Yeah, his adopted sister seemed pretty happy right now.

Isaac was not quite drunk, though he was a bit tipsy, and it seemed like his beer mugs were never going to get empty. Besides, there was a horse! "Fine looking horse you have there, son. What's her name?"

<sub>Sine and Nerys giggled when Ben spewed beer everywhere, but Sine would help Julian with cleaning himself up as Isaac went to talk to Benedict. Seems like everything is fine, and Caden was happy with Cepheid as of right now. Nerys looked at Ben.

"I've been good. Been selling maps with Cepheid." She'd take his hand in greeting though. Daww. Sine herself, despite her awkwardness around Andromeda, would speak up as well, letting Tan pull on Cepheid's cape, looking up at him with huge eyes.

"I've been... relatively good as well." Sine stammered a bit. "Frances will be down in a bit."</sub>

Ceph let Caden cling to him as he walked along, pausing to glance over at the ruckus that was ensuing by Ben and the others. Oh hey, it was Mr. Shard! Who was now covered in beer. Gross. "Just selling some charts and enjoying the company of nice people like you, little one."

He'd take a couple steps closer and then realize someone was tugging on his cape. Glancing down, he'd see Tangent, Sine's boy, looking up at him with large puppy eyes. Ohhh dear. "Hello there little one.~" He'd greet Tan, trying to think of a way to make both kids happy. Then he got an idea. Shifting Caden, he'd shift he boy onto his shoulders and, then hoist up Tangent. "Hello Tangent, have you met Caden?"

<sub>Andromeda was very, very awkward. His ex was still there, and now everybody was meeting and he had to thank the fact that he had a hat shading his face so that it would hide the awkward blush coming over his face. He then shuffled a bit nervously as Sine came up and they all started talking.

"I'm fine..." He'd asjust his hat, only to hear a familiar squealing voice and something clambering up his leg. Okay now this was just getting WEIRD.

Andy lifted his leg forward to find that Lapis had attached herself to him and then started trying to shake her off.

"Yes it's nice to see you too Lapis. Now let's not be hasty and overexcited..." He'd start. Great now everybody was going to laugh at him...</sub>

Caden snuggled against the Star Man, happy to be with his childhood hero outside of his family - the man was technically his step-uncle, but he of course didn't know that little fact. Right now, he just knew that his brother had befriended the Star Man and the Star Man was nice to him!

"Have you managed to sell many maps~?" The kid asked, resisting the urge to play with the other's clothes. He wasn't crazy.

Of course, another kid that he didn't recognize came up to them. Caden giggled a bit as he sat on the Star Man's shoulder, and peered at Tangent. Hm, he looked about Lapis's age.

<sub>Benedict watched his uncle manage to pick up both Caden and Tangent in both of his arms, remembering all those times he would have to care for those orphans. Ah, good times. The distraction wasn't too long, as he snapped his glance to Julian and chuckled nervously.

"No problem." Of course the topic shifted to Lila and he patted the horse, who huffed haughtily and raised her head in an upper class manner.

"This is Lila. I believe she's a white Arabian Horse. Very smart, very strong." of course just then Lila would start sniffing Tangent and then over to Cepheid, whom which she tried to nibble on his hat and try and take it off.

"Lilaaa!" Benedict whined. Why did she do this all the time?</sub>

"Thank you, Miss." Julian said as Nerys aided in the cleaning of his suit. Oh he hoped he wouldn't reek of beer all evening. Maybe he should run home and change. He could leave Lapis with Ben for a while, surely?

He'd look up in time to see his daughter scaling a man in a bowler hat and calling him 'Uncle Grumpy' and it only took him a moment to ID the person. Wow Andy, getting ballsy, aren't you?

Reuben just shook his head as Benedict introduced Lila. That horse was a bloody troll, and he still didn't trust her completely. He liked his hat on his head, thank you, Lila! No stealing Reuben's hat this time!

He chuckled a bit as Lapis climbed onto Andy. "Looks like she really got attached to you, Pops." If Caden ever heard the 'Pops', he might get a bit confused, though if he called him Andy, people might realize who the other was. Dangit, he wished that there was another name he could call the man.

Isaac, who was still somewhat tipsy, looked over at Lila and chuckled as she tried to steal poor Cepheid's hat. "Yup, can see both!" He stretched somewhat, grabbing another mug.

<sub>Nerys herself would dip and bow out of politeness, hovering near Cepheid as he went to deal with the horse and Tangent. She'd watch the kid as he was picked up by the boy and Caden and she would giggle at Lila, trying to make sure the horse didn't take the hat after all.

"Be nice, Lila~." She would giggle out loud as Andy went to fight off the influx of kids who suddenly decided they liked him, and Sine couldn't resist doing the same despite the sheer awkwardness of the situation.

"You seen to be popular, boys." She'd comment to both Cepheid and Andy after helping out Julian.</sub>

Ceph let Caden be the affectionate boy he was, and gave him his attention before Tangent showed up. "Yes, I've sold quite a few. I love these festivals, I always wind up clearing my stock." He smiled. He hadn't yet, but he was getting there.

Shifting Caden to his shoulders and picking up the other boy, Ceph seriously hoped that no more children showed up, or else he'd be overrun.

One wouldn't think the idea of children could be a scary one.

He was quickly distracted by the concept of a Lila trying to eat his hat. "G-Gah!" Yikes! HE NEEDS A THIRD ARM. Unable to grab at his hat without dropping Tangent, he stepped away, hopefully taking his hat with him. "Dearest mare, please refrain from eating my hat. I am very fond of it."

He'd be slightly preoccupied with the whole protecting his hat thing, so he missed Sine's comment.

Ic: <sub>Andy couldn't help but give Sine a look when she said he and Cepheid were popular. Either way, Reuben's pun also met with a look at Lapis had attached to his leg ad he held it out, trying to shake her off. He glanced over to Lila as she tried to eat his brother's hat and he just couldn't help but snicker.

"That means she likes you, dearest brother." He managed to peel Lapis off of him and then pick the girl up, holding her properly instead of her being attached to his arm and bounced her a bit.

Caden beamed as Cepheid mentioned that he had sold all of his maps. He played a bit with the other's clothes, making sure not to mess them up or damage them. "If I had money, I'd be buying maps from you!"

He eyed Tangent somewhat shyly; the other might be younger than him, but Caden was still a rather shy kid. He did end up giggling a bit as Lila tried to eat the Star Man's hat. She would do that to Reuben too nowadays! It was funny. "She does that to Reuben too~."

Ic: <sub>Benedict laughed when Caden spoke up about how much Lila liked Reuben as well. For now, Benedict was given yet another mug of alcohol and he just gave it to his dad, giving him a rather serious expression on his face as Lila continued sniffing Cepheid. He then spoke up, his tone rather deadpan.

"Here. go be a good influence on your kids." He was totally not being serious on this one. He was good with his deadpan humor... much like Reuben.</sub>
