March 12th, 1622. Early EveningContinuation from: From hereThorn had paid to get Rosabel out, and with the help of Sarina was getting her back to his place, now his place wasn't fancy, but it did show his family was well off. He peeked through the front door hopping his brother was not around yet, hoping to get him self bandaged before Saul could spot his new injury's, might have looked like a like a child expecting to get in trouble to the girls.

Contrary to what Thorn was thinking, Saul was in fact present. He was on the upper half of the foyer, standing by the walls of books that decorated the upper floor. When the door opened, he looked up from the book he was reading and glanced over the railing and saw his sibling. He also saw that he was sporting some new cuts. There had better be a good reason, or Saul wasn't going to be gentle when he patched them up.
What was he up to, anyway? Something seemed amiss. Remaining right where he couldn't be seen, he watched and listened, waiting or the mysteries to be revealed.

Sarina had helped Rosabel and Thorn out and the man was nice enough to help her pay out. The young woman was currently helping the young Clockwork down, admiring the place that Thorn had. What a wonderful place! She shouldn't be here... after all she was an Easterner and... it all made her feel awkward and out of place. She then looked over to Thorn.
"You have a very nice place here, Thorn." She'd go for awkward compliments now. Not much else to really be said though! Sarina would have to focus on other things for now. Like the fact they have a Clockwork that needed their help.

D0ll--No, Rosabel, looked around in awe at the house. It reminded her very much of the one she had once lived in with her father. It made her feel safe, like she was home again. "Oh yes, just what Lady Sarina said, Father," the small clockwork agreed, trying to squeeze past Thorn so she could get a better look at the house. Rosabel started to spin around, trying to take everything in. The clockwork must have moved a well too fast for the temporary repair job on her leg and soon found herself sitting on the ground. "Hehe, oops," she said, a tiny smile on her face, "I think I might have put too much weight on the repair."

"Don't worry M'lady, you're in a better area now where you can be repaired...and Thank you" he chuckled. He had been slightly worried about how they would react to seeing this place but, his worried subsided...Well, most of them. He removed his hat placing it on one the coat stand hooks that was by the door.
"I don't think my brother is home yet, so I think I'll have enough time to clean and bandage these cuts." He thought aloud to him self, offering his hand to Rosabel to help her up. With his hat off there was some visible blood now to where he had cut the back his head and neck some from that fall, but not enough to need a hospital trip.

Was that...
a woman?!
Unsure if he should be glad that Thorn was talking to women or worried that Thorn was talking to women. He stepped back some so he'd be more out of sight and watched. Whoever she was, she was obviously an easterner. It was his first time seeing one here in Truesdale, so he was a little unsure of how to proceed. Still, she seemed nice enough.
Saul's eyebrows shot up when he heard the word 'father'. Dear lord almighty, what had Thorn been UP to?! Risking stepping up to the railing, he was relieved to see that it was just a clockwork.
Sighing quietly, Saul saw the blood and decided it was time to show himself. Placing the book he was holding back on the shelf, he grabbed the railing and leapt over it, landing three feet to Thorn's right and standing casually. "So, which would you like to explain first? The blood, the Clockwork, or the woman?"

Yes, Thorn brought a clockwork and a woman to the household. Sarina wasn't aware of Saul yet, because she had focused on the house, and then to Rosabel and Thorn as they seemed to be in a bit of trouble. She smiled to them. Right! They needed to get her repaired.
"Yes, you do." She nodded, and then looked over to Thorn, observing those cuts. He'd better get those patched up before anything bad happens, like an infection. "Yeah you get those patched up and-"
Sarina jumped and whirled around to see that Saul had jumped down. She relaxed, though, but not before casting a questioning glance towards Thorn. Was this a co worker or brother of his?

Rosabel was helped onto her feet by Thorn, leaning on him slightly because if she tried to use her broken leg for support she would have just fallen over. She looked up at the male, noticing the red. "How did you injure yourself, Fa--" she started to question but stopped from surprise when Saul suddenly appeared out of thin air. Okay, maybe he didn't just appear, but to her child-like mind, that was what he did!
Making a small 'eep' sound, Rosabel made to step back and yet again landed on her butt on the ground. She looked up at this new man, the edges of her lips falling and she probably would have pouted if she could. Look what he did, he made her fall down! He should apologize to her.

Thorn let out a yelp, jumping a few steps back, and was mentally cursing to him self hysterically, yep, family. "S-Saul! how long have you been there?!" His face was actually a bit red embarrassed about the sudden awkward time for his brother to appear, and oh lord he hadn't taken care his cuts yet.
Lord how was he going to explain this. He took a deep breath trying to calm and compose him self, lotta help that wasn't doing. He was not going to lie though, He let out a groan looking at his brother. "...I'll explain as we go..." he sighed. "All three are sort of related...Ah this is Lady Sarina, and Lady Rosabel...A clockwork lady Sarina and I helped from the dump...Ladies, This is my elder brother Saul."

Saul tilted his head to the two females as he made his entrance, noticing the Clockwork had fallen for the second time. He wasn't completely worried about the Clockwork, he wanted answers first, so he would likely apologize later.
He looked to his brother with raised eyebrows, awaiting an answer. "Since you walked in." He answered, pointing up to the upper level where he had leapt down from. He glanced to the women as he was introduced. "My pleasure, Ladies. I apologize for my rather sudden appearance." There, he apologized. "And I like to think that I'm more Thorn's babysitter than elder brother, now, this way."
Trolling so hard it could be an Olympic sport, Saul grabbed Thorn's ear and pulled him along to a washroom where he could patch up those injuries. "Pardon us, I need to get him patched up. Again."

Sarina would scratch her head as Saul introduced himself as... um... the babysitter brother of Thorn. She'd dip her head in introduction as her name was called and then would help up the poor Clockwork. Of course now it seems that Thorn was being dragged to the washroom, and a sneaky little smile flashed across Sarina's face.
"We'll wait here." She then motioned for Rosabel to follow, unless her leg was bad again, she would help her, and Sarina would tip toe to the washroom and press her ear against the wall or door, depending on if it was open or closed. She would try and remain out of sight of the two of them.
Man this girl has a hidden mischievous side. She was eavesdropping on the boys!

Rosabel blinked slowly as this new man was introduced. Thorn's brother? Did that make him her-- The clockwork's mind moved too quickly to finish that thought was Thorn was pulled away to be "patched up". Is that how humans took care of their injuries? By patching the area with something? A new layer of skin maybe? No, that didn't sound right at all. She turned to Sarina, about to questioned the word usage for a better explanation, but found that the female was more interested in listening to what was being said between the brothers. "Lady Sarina," the child sized clockwork gasped in a whisper as she watched the woman. "Listening in on others conversations is wrong and what are they saying?" She pressed her ear to the wall beside Sarina, trying to listen in as well. Looks like someone needed a lesson in morals.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow." He repeated as he was being dragged by his ear. Once in the bathroom he was unsure where to start in explaining.
"....Most of these are from where I tripped over something and rolled down a bit of a hill, in the scrap yard." he started, Bracing himself for what ever yelling that would follow after that. "You see I was looking for some cogs when I met Miss Sarina, but while looking we heard Rosabel and started looking for her and well..While looking that is when I tripped down one of the lower scrap hills" he said explaining, he was not sure how Saul would take this

"Stop whining, you brought this on yourself, Thorn." Saul chastised as he pulled his kid brother along to the bathroom. Parking his sibling on the stool he had put there for precisely this reason, he pulled out a first aid kit and began working at disinfecting the cuts.
"You need to be more careful, Thorn. You also can't hide these from me. One cut from a rusty piece of metal and I'll lose you to tetanus." Yes, he was scolding, but there was also a hint of concern in there. He wasn't a total jerk.
"So you've known that woman for all of...how long? A few hours?" He raised an eyebrow as he took a cotton ball doused in disinfectant to one of the worst cuts, cleaning off the blood and likely making the cut sting like mad.
"And that Clockwork, I assume you got her from the scrapyard? I'm also going to assume that getting her out took a large chunk out of your allowance?"
Finishing cleaning all the wounds, he began bandaging them up so they stayed clean. "I just need you to answer this one question, Thorn: Why?"

Sarina bit her lip to hide a giggle when they walked off, but it seems that Rosabel seemed to mind it. She'd look over but then asked what they were saying. Well. She looked back and then listened to the conversation.
Something about him and trying not to get Tetanus and... us?"
Well, she knew Tetanus would be a nasty thing to deal with, since she had seen that happen when she was in the army. Saul had a reason to fret over it. Either way, she would listen in more.
Did Saul not approve of her and the Clockwork? She bit her lip. It was because she was Eastern wasn't it? And Rosabel? She couldn't afford to take care of her. Maybe she could split the cost between them to take care of her. Sarina's low self esteem quickly kicked in and she felt terrible.
Aww.
