January 17th, 1623, 5:00PM - Open to all players. Current location: Business District - The Dragon's Cauldron (Potions, scrolls, magic supply's, wands, etc. shop.) ---------- Devi was getting his jacket and glove on to prepare to go out to the outskirts of the town and further to gather what winter potion brewing items he could, he grumbled to himself how he really needed to start extracting seeds from a certain flower where he'd not have to keep doing this every winter. He'd pick up his map that had been inside his bag, which had been hidden by his cloak, to look over just how far the mountain lake was, he then start using his magic to levitate a piece of preachment and a quill, an begin writing the note that the shop would be closed for a three days, and had he not returned in three days to come found him at Put place holder name for the mountain here I'll have to add this later. He'd then use that same magic to plaster it on the front door as he grabbed his pouches and basket to carry the items he needed for when he gathered them, and huff. A black coated Husky puppy would prance over to him, leash in mouth, looking up at the floating wizard, who chuckled and took it. "Alright Artemis, I'll bring you with as well." he chucked as he snapped his fingers, a number of dog related care items going into that bag of holding of his.

It wasn't just Devi who was closing shop. Further down the street, Trigg was also closing the door on his own. Well, not exactly his, it was a rental. And on top of that, this was the last week on the contract for the rent payment. Sure, he could extend the period but he has other plans involving the airship that he was building during the last year.
After making sure that he hadn't forgotten anything, he closed a backpack before noticing a strange bulge in it. Not to mention that it was moving. Could it be a rat? Trigg grabbed hold of a discarded piece of wood that was laying around and opened the bag. And out of it... it wasn't a rat but a tiny pretty girl.
"Ah... sorry Roru. I didn't notice." Said Trigg to the displeased-looking mini-clockwork.
He grabbed hold of her and let her sit on his shoulder as he threw the backpack trough the other shoulder, walking outside and closing the door behind him, slipping the key underneath it. It was a spare s the owner can get it back later.
"Ready to go?" He said to Roru, who nodded back to her owner.
As Trigg looked down the street, he spotted another shopkeeper closing shop. He has never been there, but that man was never seen walking, always using his magic to float. Interesting, guy, he is. Although Trigg never met him before. It was also strange that he was closing shop this early. He pondered for a moment to satisfy his curiosity with the shopkeeper.
"Well, I suppose as a neighbor, it doesn't hurt to be a little curious, right?"
If Roru could speak she would say that it was not a good idea to be all friendly with a stranger, but Trigg is already on his way anyway, so what's the point, she thinks.
"Good afternoon sir. Why are you closing your shop this early, may I ask?" He said, with a smile plastered on his face. Roru looked at the puppy husky with half admiration, half fear.

Winter… Jasmine hated the cold. Being all bundled up like a baby in a blanket, was not something she found to be, fun. Unfortunately, she had to run a couple of errands that day for her father. She pulled out the list and glanced at it, just to make sure that everything was checked off. The last thing she wanted to do was come home with an incomplete errand. She knows that her father would add onto the list of errands for next time if she did, as he did not believe in laziness. Of course, she couldn't agree more with him. Laziness never got things done.
"Alright." She said as she rechecked her list. Nothing was missing.
As she turned the corner, she saw two people beginning a conversation with one another. Not being afraid of talking to strangers, Jasmine decided to greet them. "Good Evening. Isn't the weather…wonderful today?" She gave them a smile. Of course, she was not fond of the weather. But there was no reason to be a negative Nancy about the issue. Might as well spread around some cheer. Even if it is a bit false.
Then she realized that they were closing shop. A part of her was disappointed. Curiosity had gotten the best of her and she wanted to go investigate what the stores had within. I guess I'll have to stop by later. She thought to herself.

He'd look over upon hearing the male voice, the wizard was actually shorter then he appeared from far away, even when floating. "Heading out to gather a winter flower that grows round a lake in the mountains for a potion."
He replied, yep, was totally going to need to grab some seeds from the flowers he was collecting now, since now someone knew of them. Can't be fighting over supply's now. He then glanced over to the woman, unsure if she heard what he had said.
"Good Evening, and I suppose, if one enjoys feeling like a frozen fish.." he spoke in a joking manner. He really did not like the cold ether, made his whole body ache.

The honest answer from the wizard was quite surprising for Trigg. And a flower out of all things?
Trigg didn't get a thing about magics and stuff like that. He wants to try alchemy sometime though. So guessing from the genre of the man's store it might have to do with his wares. maybe the flower has some special propriety or something.
It wouldn't hurt to ask. "Just out of curiosity, what are the proprieties of that flower?" He asked but after realizing what he just said he quickly added: "Ah, Don't think that I want to steal your ingredient or anything! I'm an engineer, not a potion brewer!"
As he was fidgeting trough his words, a woman approached them. "Ah, yes! It is good... could be a little warmer but i'm cool though! haha!" Roru would roll her eyes before elbowing Trigg's head for trying to sound good in front of a person of the opposite sex. He quickly caught the drift and straightned himself.

The young woman shivered at the thought of being a frozen fish. Oh the horror! And for some reason, she had imagined herself as a poor Beta Fish, stranded in the middle of a cold lake. Then she pictured herself trapped in a frozen ice cube. Kind of like some of those kiddy-cartoons were like when the character fell into something like that. She snorted.
"Hell yeah! I'd rather it be warmer too." Jasmine responded to Trigg. "Makes my machines freak out and stall." She wrinkled her nose with utter distaste for the winter cold. She always had to keep her creations indoors because of it. And the rooms that she had were beginning to become a little crowded. "I wish I was skilled like my dad, to where I could make things that actually function in the cold." She spat to the side.
"Why are you looking for a flower? I thought they only grew in the spring and summer times?" She blinked. Jasmine had never heard of a flower growing in the middle of winter before! How weird was that?! Then again, she also wasn't too interested with learning about mother nature and all of her random creatures. If it wasn't machine, Jasmine didn't usually pay any attention to it.

Devi was a bit annoyed by the younger male's prodding and huffed, lest the boy corrected himself. "It's alright, I can't really get into it at the moment, I don't have enough time." he replied with a nod of his head in a apologetic madder.
Devi couldn't help but chuckle at the women. Nodding as she spoke "I suppose before I head off, I should introduce my self, I'm Devi Orenda. Owner of the The Dragon's Cauldron here." He spoke.
Artemis sat in the snow, looking up at the strange people before getting p and started sniffing their shoes.

"No, no. Don't worry about it. I shouldn't be too curious into the matters of others."
His curiosity does but him in bad situations at times so he knows what he is talking about. And then he got back on track when the woman mentioned that she owned machines and that she was having trouble having them cold-resistant. Perhaps she is a fellow Engineer? Trigg thought.
"I see what you mean. Roru here is particularly fragile to cold so if I hadn't installed an electrical resistance in each of her joints, she would turn into a doll." Trigg has to do that every winter so he can have his assistant in proper functionality, so she can operate in the cold.
"She gets particularly mad at me when I forget to remove that system when spring comes" He laughed, scratching the back of his head while Roru rolls her eyes. She knows it very well, that her mechanisms could overheat if her master would forget to remove the resistance after the cold weather.
The wizard introduced himself, and Trigg followed suit. "Ah, I'm Trigg Vornado, former owner of the clockwork and weapons shop down this street. I just closed it to move to a new location... well I cannot call it location, let's just say it's a new shop/transportation." Although until the weather stops its intentions of freezing the engines, the Cog Flutter will stay on the dock until spring.
Suddenly he felt his feet being sniffed by the puppy. Trigg couldn't help but grin but Roru was still on her guard to not be confused by a chewing toy.

"Aw!!! Roru is awesome looking! I love how the joints move so fluidly! And the personality is quite amusing~" She chimed as she knelt down to look at the wizard's creation. Jasmine was just held with awe and inspiration with just watching the little critter move around. In a way, she was jealous that her creations don't move so fluidly. But she also figured that he may have had more experience than she did. She was pretty much, just starting. "Wow! You're so cool~" She said to Roru.
When Jasmine stood back up she decided to introduce herself too. "The name is Jasmine. I-don't have my very own shop but my father does mechanical repairs! I'm just a mechanic in training… I have a long way to go before any of my creations do anything other than walk a few feet and fall over…" She let out a small laugh. Learning about this sort of thing was tough for her, but she knows she will get the hang of it within time. As long as her father didn't snap at her for trying.
She turned to Devi. "I've never been in your store before. Though it looks cool on the outside! I've always wondered what you had in there though…" She rubbed her nose with her gloved hand. "Do you need help finding that thing you're looking for?"

He mostly remained quite as the two chattered away. "Pleasure to meet you both." he replied, then smiled softly. "My daughter is also named Jasmine, quite a interesting surprise." He chuckled.
"My Shops kind of the equivalent of a magic supply store for lack of a better description...Ah yes, I need to get a flower that only grows in winter from the mountain lake." He nodded, keeping an eye on Artemis as the puppy moved around the snow.

Being praised so much made Roru hide behind Trigg. It's not like she's shy about it, it's just that she isn't used to it.
"Now, now Roru. isn't it nice somebody to praise you every now and then? And Jasmine, as long as you keep that mechanic spirit in you, I'm sure that you will be able to do many great things! hey, I for example, never expected to become what I am now. Sure I could do better, but maybe I cannot! Now you still have a world ahead of you because you are just starting. Don't rush things."
Seeing Jasmine all excited about Roru made him smile a bit. He almost forgot how it was to be so interested in mechanics. For him it was more a necessity than liking. So maybe that's why he is not able to do as well as other mechanics, but that doesn't mean he is behind others. It just means that he takes a little while to get there.
"Ah, maybe you are his long lost daughter! This kind of cliche settings happens a lot in novels, doesn't it?" And then he said that without realizing it. Well the follow-up was too good to be passed away, and Trigg always liked a good joke.

Jasmine rubbed the back of her head when the wizard mentioned that he had a daughter named Jasmine as well. She didn't think it was a popular name but when she did find people who did have the same name, it was quite cool. "Nice! I like the name actually. Not too many people have it. So it makes things less confusing when people call my name." She let out a laugh. "Mind if I help you find this flower?" She asked him.
Then Trigg seemed just as amused over the idea too. When he mentioned that she could be his long lost daughter she snickered. "Yeah who knows! Maybe I am!" She figured to chime in on the joke too. "But yeah! I'll always keep that burning spirit." She said to Trigg with a firm nod and a fist pump. "I want to do so many things. Like create things that could help me fly, or make a robot companion that can fight along side me. Stuff like that."

Devi had never felt so awkward before, and rubbed the back of his neck as he tried to cope with it. "Eheh, Well believe me, i wont ever end up mistaking you for my dear Jazzy, She's a dragon." He awkwardly chuckled, looking at the two.
His ears then perked as he looked to Jasmine. "I wouldn't mind some help..I am headed out of town, and not the best to handle all the snow on the terrain like that on my own." He nodded.

"Oh... that's... interesting." Trigg couldn't help but to feel uneasy. Having a dragon as a laughter must be quite the experience... unless his wife is also a dragon... The engineer really doesn't know how that kind of stuff works so he doesn't bother questioning it.
"That's the spirit!" He said to Jasmine's exciting reply. "Maybe you can also build ridabale robots to fight with you..." Trigg has no idea where that thought came from. Definitively not from a cute girl with a weird haircut and obsession with skulls who has an army of 40 little bots... Whoa. That got weird, he thinks. Maybe weird enough for a novel or something.
Having said that, he was also curious about the flower. He doesn't have anything to do and he cannot leave port with this weather... "What do you say Roru? Should we also give a hand?" The mini-Clockwork gave a thumbs-up of approval. "Alright, that settles it. Mister Orenda, If you don't mind, me and Roru here would also like to join you."

“A dragon? Now that’s pretty hardcore!” Jasmine said to him with enthusiasm and awe. A dragon being their kid? Somehow as crazy as that sounded, it was still awesome. Just the thought of being friendly with a dragon was just too great! She imagined them being able to fly around together, burn buildings and villages together, scare off people they hated. And don’t forget, be scary towards those who would coward before them. Of course, she then imagined herself riding on a large mechanical dragon.
Maybe she can make one of those?
“Dude, I would LOVE to make rideable robots that could fight along side me.” She said. “I’m not very awesome with fighting but if I could have a robot do it for me…” She brought her hand up to her chin and tapped it a couple of times. Maybe she should learn how to create robots that can actually walk right? Or maybe ones with some sort of flying ability, so they didn’t have to rely on walking? Thoughts crept into her mind, almost blocking out the conversation going on outside of her head.
She shook her head. “Awesome!” Then another thought flooded into her head. The snow is cold. If the area they are going into, was much colder than where they were now… She wouldn’t be able to use her hand to its full potential. Curse my lack of ingenuity. She wrinkled her nose. Well… I doubt I’ll even be needing to worry about fighting others. They’ll fight too, right? Of course. They look awesome enough to be able to handle stuff. And besides, I don’t have to physically harm enemies. I could always outsmart them. Pfft, cold schmold. I can handle this. No biggie.
After her thoughts subsided she finally spoke out loud. “Okay! So uh… where to?”
