"No. Sorry. Kinda not sure where it is now. As I said, it was near some running water," Nomine replied.
"Oh. Right. I left my bag near the place with the deer. Any chance we could-"
Before Nomine could finish his sentence the pain just got worse. He fell to one knee, groaning in pain and holding his head with both his hands this time. Dammit, it was already getting worse. In a few more seconds he fell down on his side and was about to curl up.

Running water...Running water...
Upon receiving a clue, Dylan almost immediately pulled up a mental map and narrowed down the most likely locations 'running water' would be close to. Could be a river, a stream or even a brook, but at least they have fewer places to look. That and going back to their very first meeting place would be a good place to start.
"All right, we'll try th---"
And then Nomine was on the ground.
"Oi, oi!" Alarmed, Dylan was quick to Nomine's side. "Don't you dare die on me!" Unless you have insurance. That I can pick up!"

Nomine just lied there for a minute or two holding his head in pain. He pulled out his sword again, but jammed the tip into the ground. He used his sword as a crutch to help pull himself back up, slowly.
"Sorry," he gasped. "I...Need some rest for a while...Can you help me get my...my bag back where the...where the..."
Yeah he was losing it. How much longer till he eventually KO's for a while?

The kid's losing it, but Dylan's not about to have any of that. He grasped Nomine by the arm and nearly hoisted him up to his feet.
"You're not about to let that headache get the better of you every time, are you?" he hissed to Nomine through gritted teeth. "If you're going to join the militia, you can't let that thing stand in your way! You do not let that thing stand in your way!"
"Now come on; get up! You can do better than that." Dylan wasn't joking this time.

Nomine was hauled back up by Dylan. He held onto Dylan with the arm being held, grasping his head with his other hand. He just kept that position for about 10 more seconds, not responding to Dylan. He winced again, then he slowly began to straighten himself up.
He released Dylan and tried to stand on his own. After about 5 seconds of making sure he hadn't lost his balance, Nomine looked back to Dylan.
"...So. Are we going to get my-" he winced at another pang in his head. "...bag or what?"
Still wasn't gone. That pain was going to last a bit longer if anything.

Looks like Nomine's hanging on. Somewhat. But at least he could get up on his feet and not be too much of a burden. For now.
Dylan kept his eyes on Nomine while the other tried to stand on his own and kept mentioning his bag. "Right, right. Let's do that." he said, now forming a course of action. "What's in that bag anyway, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Sleeping bag," Nomine answered. "...Few nuts and berries. A stone for sharpening my sword. I think. A can of beans. There are some random papers with symbols I don't know. I don't recognize them though. I can read just fine but..."
He rubbed his forehead again and looked around. "So...how do we get back?"

Typical traveler's pack, even if it seemed bare-boned. Dylan wasn't surprised, although he was partly expecting the pack to include some animal parts...That is, until he reminded himself that Nomine wasn't a poacher.
"All right. We'll see once we're back at the station." Dylan said, starting to head up the cliff. Lucky for Nomine, he was keeping track of their path. "Well, better hurry and follow after me, unless you want to eat my snow-filled dust!" And he was on his way up.

Nomine blinked as Dylan ran off. "How can dust be filled with-"
He followed after Dylan, climbing back up the cliff. He slipped at least once climbing back up and fell on his back. Another groan. Bumping his already throbbing head into the ground wasn't going to help his headache any. He slowly got back up, wiped the snow off the back of his hair, and climbed back up the cliff again. He continued following after Dylan once he climbed back up.

Dylan climbed up the cliff, using notches and ledges along the cliff's sides as steps. As he went, he'd take an occasional glance at Nomine's direction to see if he was following after him, and could only sigh when the latter fell.
"Oh, boy." he told to himself. "This is going to have some complications la---Oh, he got back up. Back to the game!"
Upon reaching the top of the cliff, Dylan waited for Nomine and would head to the direction they've come from once the latter catches up.

Shouldn't have taken that long to get back up the cliff they came down from. It was only 3 feet high after all. Still that little slip accident was rather silly of him. He just walked after Dylan without saying a word, just kept rubbing his head while trying to fight his headache.
Once they returned to the site with the dead stag, Nomine silently passed Dylan and began to retrace his steps. He looked at the tree the dead stag was lying in front of. He walked in a straight line from where the dear was lying in front of the tree towards a clump of bushes. He climbed over the bushes slowly. He didn't feel like jumping back over them; his headache hadn't died down yet. He scanned the ground near the bushes until he found his large bag lying next to a tree next to the bushes. He slung his bag over his shoulder and climbed back over the bushes. He looked back down at the ground as he did so, finally noticing the tracks he was leaving in the snow as he was walking.
So that's how Dylan kept up with him, he thought.

As Nomine went to get his bag, Dylan kept watch over their surroundings, just in case there were others around. After all, a freshly killed stag was just lying around, that could account to free food for wild animals and free pelt for hunters and otherwise.
Which brought up a concern; not a huge concern, but a concern nonetheless.
"Oi, better hurry up and grab that bag." Dylan called out to Nomine, hands just about ready to take out a weapon if need be. "And what about the stag?"
"...Ha, I made a rhyme. I'm good~"

"Didn't you agree that we should leave it out for the other animals to eat?" Nomine asked.
Oh hey, his headache was finally ending. That's a good sign.
What was that? For a moment it seemed like something had moved in the distance behind Dylan. Was he seeing things? Then there was that odd rustling sound. It wasn't the bushes that were rustling though. The sound came from someplace higher. Nomine placed his bag slowly and quietly on the ground.
Then came what sounded like heavy breathing.
Nomine crouched and moved his hands to prepare to draw his sword. One could almost assume it looked like he was preparing to attack Dylan.
"Duck," Nomine said quietly.
He drew his sword out slowly, hoping this might give Dylan enough time to heed his warning. Then he let loose another wind shockwave, this one however intending to cut whatever came in its path. A number of trees were cut in the attack for the next 20 yards distance. Then it came.
A loud terrifying roar echo'd from the direction of Nomine's attack. The breathing increased dramatically as the monster came closer, knocking away the broken trees in its path towards the two men.
It was an ape-like creature with thick white fur, a frightening set of fangs, large muscles, and towered over the both of them at 8 feet high. In its two massive hands, it was holding one of the tree trunks it knocked over and swung it at the both of them. This...was a Yeti.

The air was different from earlier, not a chirp or a peep from the smaller critters in the forest. Dylan's ears caught some noises coming from behind him. Something was coming up and it was evident when Nomine took up an offensive stance.
"Ohoho...There's something really scary behind me, right?" Dylan nonchalantly asked, before ducking just as Nomine fired that shockwave.
Dylan launched himself forward, the blast of wind traveling above him, and then tumbled to a stop with his twin pistols out and pointed at the direction Nomine had aimed at. Then, there it is.
"I was wondering when something like this will show up." Dylan said, keeping his guns pointed at the approaching yeti. "Because, you know...Dead stag, dead giveaway?"
The yeti swung the tree trunk at them, which Dylan dodged by ducking. He fired a few rounds at the yeti from his handguns and then took a quick glance at Nomine. "Oi, I hope that headache of yours is gone by now because this 'headache' isn't going anytime soon!" If he has to babysit Nomine while fending off a large yeti, that is going to be troublesome.

Nomine ducked the swinging tree trunk with Dylan. As Dylan brought up his headache issue again, he replied back calmly.
"Less talk, more-" he ducked again as the Yeti immediately reversed its swing and swung the tree back at them. "-fight!"
He swung out another shockwave, this time aimed at the tree in the Yeti's hands. The trunk was cut in half. The yeti dropped it after being hit by Dylan's shots in its left side and arm.
The yeti was growing angry. It pointed its left arm at Dylan and fired an ice-cycle shaped projectile from all five of its fingers at once. The creature lept forward, raising its right arm as long ice claws formed in its hand and slashed towards Dylan's arms and guns.
Nomine ducked to avoid the arc of the slash before getting backhanded by the yeti, sending him into the air and crashing into a tree. He fell to the ground with a thud after his collision with the tree, and tried to get back on his feet.
