Ic: Luck has managed to be on her side! The young journalist had picked out a lovely dress for her to wear on the trip to Dula as she tried to keep her composure. Her nature over there is rather bad as she had been behind some of the many unsuccessful attempts to try and learn more about Swire Inc. After all... things were fishy over there since she knew a large upper class controlled company had to have thing going on. It got worse when she started researching the mysterious disappearance of children in Seria.
Now, since the attack on Alfya against Truesdale, The heads of the Eastern Trading Company wanted some journalists to go ahead and try and track Swire Inc! It was the perfect chance for this young woman to get all the information she needed! It would be insane, crazy, and it might lead her to lose her dignity, but it would be worth it.
After Liz packed up some clothes and her notebook and graphite pencil in her duffel bag, she would stand up and look at the mirror, flipping it over to look over the newspaper clippings she had on Dula. Unsurprisingly, many of them did revolve around Andromeda Callidum, the local thug.
"You know, I wonder if I can chance an interview with that man." She thought to herself as she pulled out her makeup. She would turn the mirror around to apply her makeup and then sling the bag over her shoulder. "I can interview later. For now, off to Dula!" She whistled for her bird, which perched right on her shoulder as she walked out the door, locked it, and strolled down the business district towards the docks.

((OOC: I had intended to post in this thread long ago but I decide to wait if somebody else would. Since nobody did, I hope you don't mind me strolling in:)) IC:
He didn't want to stay longer than he would wish for. Rumor has it that things are going pretty bad in Seria. After anchoring the Cog Flutter in the nearly-empty docks, he ventured trough the Business District, in order to see if he could get some supplies for his ship and stock up in his food reserves.
He still was unsure of his new route though. But the whole Seria seemed to be in a panic after the Clockwork attack. He wanted to know what has transpired for the clockworks to go amok like that. Under somebody else's order or they are acting on their own? Trigg couldn't shake the feeling that there was something behind this and he wanted to know but he is just a common man. He knows he wouldn't be able to do much.
With those words in his mind he turned the corner and nearly ran against Elizabeth. He backed up. Somewhat taken aback by her looks and her pretty dress. "O-oh. I am sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going to."
He made a small bow in apology and turned around, wondering where he should get supplies, if he could.

OoC: No problem!
Ic: Liz certainly was in a bit of rush heading to the docks. She adjusted the bag she had in her hand and then smoothed out her dress, knowing that she had to make herself look presentable for what was going to transpire. Either way, she would be held up a bit when she bumped into another man. He had brunette hair and a bit of a shapely appearance, though he seemed to be a bit of a stranger among these parts. She would yelp in surprise and then look up at the man as he spoke up.
"Oh no! It's okay! I'm in a bit of rush." She pulled her hair back a bit, trying to make herself look less flustered. "Are you lost or something?" He did seem like it.

Triggs certainly wasn't expecting for the other woman to pick up a conversation. He is not necessarily in a rush after all, so he turned to her again and replied: "Uh... sort of. I docked my ship at the docks and usually I shop near there but all the shops were closed and I rarely ventured further inside you see..."
All the things he would ever need to buy would be available right there at the docks, and since rare people are in necessity of his services he never stays there for too long. Maybe because he would also buy his medicine from some shady guy who just stands there in a spot where people rarely look. Carrying these around would raise suspicion. That also brings the case that Trigg's stash of meds is nearly gone. Hopefully there will be a pharmacy somewhere still open. Maybe he should ask the woman in front of him of one but he doesn't want to say right away what they are for or the place where he usually gets them.

Elizabeth glanced at the man as he explained his situation, and perked a bit when he stated he had a ship. Okay that would be really useful to know, especially since she was going to Dula alone. She would adjust the sack on her back and smile at him when he said he doesn't venture far into Seria.
"Well I can't say. You'll have trouble finding supplies even if you venture further. Especially since Sera was just attacked..." He trailed off. "I'm going to Dula, though. It's a big risk especially since you may know how shady they are, but I insisted." She explained. Either way, medicine could be found for Trigg, but since it was mostly being used to help people who were attacked in Seria, she wasn't sure if they'd allow him to have some.

That's right. The attack might require all their available stock of medicine. Not to mention that the pills that Trigg takes are basically directed towards sharp pain and infection on his prosthetic legs. Trigg doesn't need that to survive, but the people here sure do. Not to mention food and water. This was a bad stop for a restock, but he didn't knew about the attack until yesterday so it can't be helped.
"Yeah. I haven't put much thought on that. I guess I have to get my supplies somewhere else." He perked up at the woman mentioning she was headed towards Dula. Maybe that will be his only choice as well. It might be the closest place to go, if Trigg has a good reliability reading maps anyway.
"Dula eh...? It is indeed a dangerous place to go alone. If you don't mind the generosity of a stranger, mind if I accompany you...? I need supplies and it seems unlikely that I will get anything here."

Elizabeth was unfortunately a magnet for trouble. She would have to be very careful when traveling around that place, but it seemed that it was both in Liz's and Trigg's benefit that they travel to Dula to do whatever it is they need to do. In Liz's case it was Swire Inc. In Trigg's it would be supplies. She would have to warn him though, about the dangers.
"Supplies are scarce here." She commented on the obvious, but then Trigg asked to accompany her and she nodded. "I'd appreciate it, but are you sure? Dula is dangerous and I'll be heading the Swire Inc. I'm not well liked there due to how I am a reporter. On the other hand, Swire Inc is great for machine parts..." She paused. "I don't mind, though. Just be careful."

Looks like Liz is worried about Trigg's safety... wasn't she about to go there all by herself..? At least it's good that she cares. Even to a complete stranger, it feels somewhat nice to have some worry from somebody else.
"So you are a reporter...? I'e heard that your field of work is indeed more dangerous that many may think. But I like how you guys always want to unveil the truth out of everything."
If he wasn't an engineer, he would be a reporter. He thinks it would be the best way to uncover mysteries revolving strange incidents that happen with no reason but that may be cause of corruption and things like that... too bad that he wouldn't make a good one though because he has a hard time getting information out of anyone...
"Anyway, don't worry about me. I may not look like it, but as an engineer I have faced various things that you might not imagine. And machine parts! That's great. I needed to re-stock on parts for my shop..."
The time where he disposed of erratic Clockworks was not the best day of his life. But they had no way to be fixed and they would cause several problems if they were to let run around.

Liz always cared about other people, even strangers. She would smile at Triggs when he asked her about being a reporter. She would mull over the idea of being a reporter, and remembered all the crazy things she had dealt with as a reporter. She scratched her head and then smiled, trying to cover that bad luck she had in getting into big trouble.
"Oh, no it's nothing too bad." She definitely had to agree that being able to uncover mysteries and secrets, which is something she was planning to do anyway. She would smile again when he mentioned that he would be okay. "Good, then we should be a good team in case trouble occurs~."

Trigg was quite enjoyed about the fact of having a partner, even if temporary. He has Roru, sure, but she is not that good at making conversations for the obvious lack of a voice. Sure, she could use her Morse code but another human voice feels reassuring for once.
"We seem to have an agreement then." He held out his hand. Trigg had heard that deals and things of that nature are often sealed with an handshake. It would only be fitting to do the same thing here.
"My name is Trigg. Trigg Vornado. Inventor, Engineer and researcher of Clockworks, weapons and any other gadgets alike. Here is hoping for a good partnership, Miss...?" He hung out his voice, waiting for her to introduce herself as well.

Well, Liz is glad she has a companion for this trip as well and she would adjust her bag, happily extending her hand out to shake Trigg's, sealing the agreement the two of them had for the moment. She would nod in turn before walking alongside towards the docks to find that ship. If not she could travel with Trigg in the meantime.
"Nice to meet you Trigg Vornado. My name is Elizabeth Sirah. You can call me Liz though." She smiled at him.

The young engineer took a little bit of time to recover from that charming smile... why do women always make him feel nervous at times? Anyway, he started to follow her to the docks while she introduced herself.
"You also don't need to call me by my full name. Trigg or anything else you feel comfortable with." Trigg never had a shorter name or a nickname, it would be funny of Liz makes up one for him, but he's not expecting that.
"Anyway, let me tell you in advance that my boat also doubles as a shop. However don't worry. I always have space for other people and I keep it clean every week thanks to a certain bolt-head always remembering me to do so..."
If Roru could sneeze she would do so right now. As she was waiting for her master on the docked ship, sitting by the deck, kicking her legs like a kid, while staring at the ocean, trying to comprehend it's existence.

Well, Liz had to put on a pretty face and a smile. It helped hide her intentions as a nosy journalist after all. But at least she was pretty and knew what she was going to do in this case, and she could fend for herself. She looked over to Trigg when he spoke up and she smiled again, enjoying his company. A new friend was always good for her anyway.
"Ah, Trigg. It's a nice name." She always complimented anyway. She would listen to him again as he spoke up. "That's okay. I've seen some pretty crazy places myself." Though they were walking to the docks, she had to admit the sea smell felt good to her...

" I suppose I can imagine that given your line of work..." He stopped that sentence short because he didn't want to sound like he was offending Liz. After all they just met, it wouldn't be nice.
Trigg has to wonder the prompt decision that he and Liz took in the spur of the moment. Was it a wise choice for each of them to trust a stranger like that? Trigg has nothing against Liz to even think of harming her so he's safe. But what about her... One thing is for certain, Roru might not like her Master suddenly bringing a stranger to the boat on a travel like that. She might even zap him.

Liz also had to wonder why the man wanted to tag along. They had barely met and now they were about to fly into the Lion's Den. Perhaps maybe it was just a way to support each other, maybe they have a mutual respect for each other, but either way... Liz found Trigg to be no threat. He was no Dulan, it showed in his eyes. They were expressive, softened, glistened with intense curiosity and philosophical thought.
Not like a Dulan. Theirs were either dull from the suffering they have to go through, or cold and lifeless. Either way, she would bounce back into the conversation. Like any reporter, she was inherently curious.
"So what do you normally do?"
