OoC: February 6, 1622. Morning, around 8:00 AM
Ic: Again with the weird dreams. Andromeda wasn't sure how t react to this one, though it probably had to do with the strange events that unfolded yesterday. Because of running into the Princess, now he was escorting her to a safer place out of his own safety... all cause he liked her. Then again, she was a lady and a pretty one. That was his major weakness and she probably could easily get anything out of him... well, if she knew that.
Andromeda felt a start from the pain in his shoulder, but it was a good kind of pain, not an infected kind of pain. He would have to get the bandages changed for the moment, but right now he was busy laying down... hugging something in his sleep.
... Wait a minute, wasn't he sitting in a chair when he fell asleep?
Andy woke up with a start and found out he was cuddling the princess in his sleep. Which led him to mentally panic for a few moments and hope to whatever God that existed that she wasn't awake right now. Andromeda, very shakily, very quietly, and very carefully would unhitch his arms from the princess and try and sit up to try and escape the possible embarrassment that might ensue.
He also made a mental note to ask Cepheid to watch him in his sleep because Andy was now wondering if he had sleepwalking issues.

Ieaeka was a heavy sleeper, but Andy wasn't the only one having a strange dream. In her dream she was sitting on a cloud, being hugged by a fuzzy bear which was nuzzling her neck affectionately. She wondered why she was dreaming of a bear though, on a cloud.
The bear that she was leaning against got up eventually, and kind of sauntered off, jumping off the cloud she sat on and out of sight. Confused, the Princess stood and inched towards the edge of the cloud to look over it.
She let out a strangled gasp as she saw that, below her cloud, was the two bandits that had attacked her the previous day, still sporting the injuries that killed them. She tried to run but she was grabbed and she felt them trying to continue the nefarious attempts at her person. Kicking and screaming-
-she shot straight up in the bed and through a punch, half asleep, her dainty and bandaged fist meeting Andromeda's face. She was unaware that he had somehow drifted to her bed, and was actually trying to fend off her fictional attackers. Her eyes shot open and she finally realized where she was, safely in the apothecary. Still, she couldn't fight off the tears that sprung to her eyes as she tried to forget the traumatic event that happened the previous day. She only had so much strength and in the vulnerability of being half asleep, she didn't have enough to keep her measured appearance, sobbing into her hand; unaware she had actually hit Andy.

Andromeda didn't have much time to react, though something told him there was something off. He knew a bit about bad dreams, but the quickening breathing from Ieaeka should have warned him. He was sitting up on the edge of the bed pulling his his hair, a bit half asleep, looking to Ieaeka. Then he was punched right across the nose. Now, Andromeda has a pretty hard head and an iron face and would have shrugged off the injury, however yesterday he was slammed in the nose by a club so it was still pretty sensitive.
So Ieaeka, despite her weak strength, gave Andy quite the sting in his nose and Andy doubled back in pain. He clutched his nose, tears falling out of his eyes that he was unable to hold back (you'd be surprised that makes a man cry). Granted, he recovered a bit quickly only having a drip of blood down his nose that he wiped with his sleeve.
He was about to yell at Ieaeka for punching him, but then she was crying there. Andy had no idea how to react except the natural thing that any guy would do to comfort a woman. He put his arm around her and adjusted his position to sit next to her, rocking her. Something he used to do with the kids back at the boarding school, especially to Angel.
"Ieaeka, it's okay. Everything's okay. I'm sorry..." Yeah, Andy realized she was a sheltered princess and what happened yesterday might have had a profound affect on her. "It's just a bad dream."

A light sting in her hand was the only indication she had hit anything, and she was too caught up in her own rather sudden distress to really notice nor care.
She felt a warm presence by her side and was scooped up into another person's arms. She gave a start and shrank slightly before realizing who it was and relaxing a little. She heard his soothing and tried to respond, but her sobs made that difficult and it came out as just unidentifiable crying noises.
Eventually, she calmed down, though her face was red from crying and she looked pretty miserable. "I...I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." She apologized, wiping at her tear stained face. "Y-You're right. It was just a bad dream."

Andy continued to rock Ieaeka back and forth to calm her down, which she eventually did, and he took a deep breath. How many times had this happened at the Boarding School? Or to Lapis and Caden? Really, he was just better with calming people down than anything. Though he didn't let go of her, knowing that if he did she may feel panicked again. Andy rubbed his face to get the gunk out of his eyes and then lean his head on hers.
"No, it's okay. It's a completely natural reaction; I should know this." He murmured, completely forgetting this was a princess and just treating her like any female friend he had taken care of in his life. "There we go. I know it was tough yesterday, but you're strong. Now..." He stood up and would help her up if she requested.
"I'm pretty hungry. Let's see if Greg is awake and we can see to getting something to eat." he paused, looking down at his bloodied shirt. "... And I need to replace my shirt."
He would never mention waking up next to her, though.

The woman nodded lightly and finished wiping her eyes, not really thinking about how potentially intimate the comforting affection Andy was displaying really was. "..." She didn't know how to respond. She was a princess, she was supposed to act more regal than the blubbering mess she was. She could almost hear the crack of her tutor's ruler against a desk at this display.
She looked at Andy through blurry eyes and tried to listen to him, steadying her breathing and feeling like a child. She felt herself aided to her feet, though she somewhat wanted to go back to bed, however she feared what her dreams had in store for her.
"!! Ah! Your nose!" She just noticed the little bit of blood trying to free itself from the man's nasal cavity. "Are you alright?"
Eventually the subject of food was brought up, and she nodded slightly. "I would like to change my dress as well. Mayhaps Greg has a shirt you could borrow while I change?" She was very politely asking you to leave the room so she could change.

Andromeda believed one should act how they really are, to never be conformed to society's standards, though if he knew what Ieaeka was thinking he would have probably gotten into an argument over it. Though for now he would comfort her, despite the intimacy of the gesture. Aah, sometimes Andy is so used to it he doesn't even realize it either, so he was on the opposite spectrum of Ieaeka. As soon as he helped her up, he would glance over to her, almost wanting to put his hand on her face...
"Huh?" Oh yeah. His nose. "I'm okay, you flailed and hit me on the nose but it's not broken or anything. I'll get some ice for it again." He hoped he didn't sneeze. Andy would wipe his nose again, since he gave up trying to keep as little blood on his already bloodied shirt. He nodded when she spoke up and then would leave to give Ieaeka some privacy.
Naturally he would find Greg at the desk of the Apothecary, and he would speak to the other, trying to find a good change of shirt and some ice for his nose, as well as some suggestions on how to get all that blood out of his dirty shirt. He would have to keep that in mind for later.

"I'm sorry." She frowned, guilty she hit him. "I was dreaming that I was on a cloud, being held by this big fuzzy bear. He got up and left though, and when I went after him I saw those men and..." She shuddered. "I'm sorry. tis only a dream."
Andromeda departed and she quickly changed out, swapping her royal purple dress for a much simpler sky blue one with sleeves to her elbows and a high collar. Dressed, she'd gently slip her circlet inside a tiny hip bag attached to the dress and don her earrings, stepping into the main room, once again her sober and calm self, any hint of her tears washed away in the wash basin from the room.
"Good morning, sir." She'd greet politely to Greg before glancing to Andy if he was in the room.

Andromeda thought about that dream, though he made no comments about that bear. It seemed kind of odd to him, but those men certainly invaded her dream. Though he wondered if it correlated to him cuddling her, which caused him to blush a bit when nobody was around. Either way, everything seemed fine in Greg's perspective between both Ieaeka and Andy, as the man had patched up Andy's wound again and got him a spare shirt. Andy adjusted his shirt before putting on the black cloak. It was a bit damp, as Greg had taken it earlier in the morning and washed it.
"Thanks, Greg." Andy spoke up. As soon as he spotted Ieaeka, he smiled, sort of admiring the simplicity of her dress.. "Feel better?"
"Good morn to both of you! Though, not until I check that injury of yours. I can replace the bandages while I'm at it." Greg spoke up, cheerful as usual. "There's some baked goods on the counter there if you want some."
"I'd like some makeup too. I don't know what Godwine uses or how she puts it on, but the scar is getting visible." Andy murmured as he glanced at a mirror. His nuzzling had smudged his makeup and some of it came off to where the scar was starting to show a bit.

She glanced to Andromeda as he spoke to her and saw the lingering half smile. "Yes. Thank you." She said, before glancing to Greg. "..." She didn't say anything right away, but the sound of baked goods sounded amazing that moment, and she held out the hope there would maybe be a cheese danish there.
"Thank you, good sir." She said to Greg. "I would greatly appreciate that." While she waited for Greg to finish with Andy, she walked over to the counter and inspected what was there.
She was in the process of picking a cake when Andy mentioned the makeup, and she glanced back to the two men. She felt a little bad now. There was a makeup case in her trunk, but she hadn't taken it as she didn't think it was a necessity, but now she wished she did. That and her own makeup was fading and she wasn't used to not wearing it. Her eyes were still striking without it, but she was just used to it.
"I have some coin, I could go and buy some." She offered. "Many apologizes to you, sir Greg, however a man purchasing makeup may draw attention, and the weather is dreary enough for me to excuse my cloak."

As soon as Andy was taken care of and icing his nose, Greg would change the gauze on Ieaeka's foot injury before he stood up and washed his hands. As Ieaeka went over to the nice platter of baked good there would be a couple of Berliners, some croissants, and a couple of danish pastries and a bearclaw all neatly piled up. Greg looked over to the two of them.
"My neighbor is a baker and she makes a platter to put here every day for anybody who is recovering." He explained. "As for makeup, there's a little shop down the street that you can grab some makeup. I'd suggest you stay here, Andy." They all knew why. Especially since Andy was already rubbing his face and smearing the makeup worse.
"Yeah, I know." Andy spoke up. "I'll wait here, and once we get the makeup on and some food we can leave. Or we can get some food and put on the makeup..."

"My thanks." Ieaeka said softly as Greg finished with her ankle. Her neck bandages didn't need changing at the moment, and she was able to change the bandages on her wrists herself without much issue.
Once she was able to purloin a danish, she took a hungry and slightly unladylike bite out of it. "...~" She hadn't eaten since the previous morning so she was almost starving. She wasn't used to going so long without food. Swallowing the bite, she addressed the makeup issue. "Alright. Allow me to finish this and I shall depart." She glanced to Andy. "Eating first would he best, to avoid smudging it by accident."
Finishing off the danish in two large bites, she'd retrieve her damaged boot and tenderly put her weight on her foot in the heeled shoe. Bearable. Donning her other boot and cloak she ensured that her coin purse was still on her person, and tugged the hood over her head. "I will return soon." She said, before moving to head to the shop, letting Andy and Greg alone to gossip like high schoolers catch up.

Greg would sit down behind the desk and watch the two of them as they discussed what to do, adn Ieaeka would put her boot back on. He nodded in return at the comment about Andy smudging his makeup. Best to do that last...
Andromeda took one of the Berliners, being a typical pirate about eating... which was stuff half of it in his mouth and then accidentally drip jelly everywhere. Greg watched the two of them stuffing themselves and he had to facepalm. If anybody saw this they'd think they were a couple of weirdos with no manners, but either way, they were both done. Well, Andy wasn't.
"Nnnf, muh mruhfds furr." Andy was now talking with his mouth full. he then stopped, realizing he was speaking in the 'stuffed mouth language' that nobody ever could understand and he swallowed. "Yeah, good idea." As soon as Ieaeka was gone, Greg would turn to him and spoke to him, a little mischievous grin forming around the mustached man's mouth.
"You totally like her."
"No I don't."
"Yes you do."
"Well, that's not exactly going to be well reciprocated by the both of us. I'm a pirate; She's a princess."

Ieaeka tried to be as graceful as she could as she inhaled her pastry, but she was hungry. Princesses weren't meant to go 24 hours without food, especially while being molested by bandits!
She looked at Andy funny when he tried to talk with his mouth full, before giving him a rather stern look that encouraged better manners.
Once she was done eating and she had donned her clothes, she stepped out the door and walked along the damn streets, making her way to the just now opened beauty parlor, stepping in and walking up to the counter.
"Pardon, I need some makeup." She said.
She spoke to the clerk, keeping her head down as she did, and after some dodging sales pitches, managed to get what she needed and slip out. The entire time, the clerk was subtly trying to see under the hood, which only ceased upon Ieaeka's stern glance. Naive? Yes. Fragile? Somewhat. But she was used to being in charge and it showed.
She'd return as quickly as she could, carrying the small paper bag as she did. She had gotten a small tube of red lipstick for herself, and it did cost a bit, however she had enough to get them to the city they needed, if barely.
She'd gently step into the apothecary, the sky still dim from clouds. "I have returned." She announced quietly.

Andromeda glanced at the princess a little meekly when she gave him that gaze, choosing to be more courteous about the eating of said Berliner. He would sneak a croissant while he was at it, realizing that the blood loss really made him hungry. After some time of waiting, Greg would speak up again.
"Yeah, but that doesn't stop the fact you like her, rules or not." Greg spoke up, hopefully giving Ieaeka some time to walk to the parlor while Andy grumbled over the issue of him liking her. To Greg it clearly upset Andy, but he didn't ay anything otherwise. Andromeda would have to cope with the emotions on his own.
"Listen, Ieaeka's a great woman. She's authoritative, loyal to her country, and very sweet when she is capable of doing so, but there is absolutely no way she's going to reciprocate my feelings for-" A quiet voice behind him made him stop. "... She's right behind me isn't she?"
"Yes. Yes she is, Captain Grumpypants." Greg spoke up.
