Benedict glanced over to the others, though he found his uncle wrapped his arm around him and he grinned. Yeah, if theres one thing Ben was good with, it was ranchwork and fishing, for some reason. Totally opposite form his biological father, though Ben had no objections, though as soon as he heard that Andy was going alone with Ieaeka, he knew two things would happen, he'd address the first thing.
"He's right, there has to be an alternative." He spoke up. Though the other worry hehad was much deeper, and he looked at Andy, almost worried he would have to go through the same thing Sine did. Ben was genre saavy to know that there was some kind of mutual attraction between the two, but he knew neither could act upon it.
"... If so, you two be careful."

Andromeda stuck his tongue out as Cepheid teased him about Ben being a natural fisherman. He then rolled hsi eyes, but decided not to say anything. No he was proud of his son for all of that and he definitely approved of Benedict and what he did. Honestly if this man could do it, he could lease out property for that kid to start his own ranch with Lila.
"I'll be taking Lila. She's fast. The draft horses are needed here. Besides, I can't use you or my ship. It's a beacon saying 'attack me right now' in Seria. And going in disguise as you would attract attention." He paused. "On top of that, if it's just me, then most of the thugs would rather avoid me. I'm pretty infamous. It's just authority I have to watch out for."
He smiled at Cepheid. "Don't worry. I'll head straight back. It'll take about three days to get there, and about three day's trip back. Don't worry about me." It was then Ieaeka asked if he needed anything else. He checke dhis belt for his weapons.
"Nope, Godwine's got us prepared. We should head out before the sun sets."

Ieaeka raised an eyebrow in curiosity at one thing said in the exchange, but said nothing; for now. "I have the most confidence in Andromeda's capabilities. He would not have built the notoriety he has if he was easy to defeat." There was a compliment in there, puff out your chest Andyboy.
She nodded when Andy confirmed that it was time for them to depart, and she stood. "It was a pleasure, Cepheid. Benedict. Perhaps we may meet again some day." She gave them both a polite nod and, assuming he was making his way out, would follow Andromeda.

Ceph just kept grinning at his brother, though his jovial mood was very quickly lost as the topic shifted to the fact that Andy was going alone with one of the most sought after people in the kingdom.
That, and after that mess with Sine, he didn't want his twin getting attached to this woman. However, he knew Andy better than anyone, he could already tell it was too late. Andy had put himself on a one way rail to heartache and there was nothing he could do to help his twin.
"Yes. Please be safe..." He'd look to Ieaeka. "A pleasure, ma'am." He'd bow deeply as she departed, but not before clapping his brother on the shoulder in a silent goodbye.

Benedict looked over to Ieaeka as she spoke up. Wow, she had confidence in this guy? Well, he was very good at what he did, and Ben smiled lightly at that, remembering how Cepheid and Andy came to his rescue. He breathed a bit, and looked over to the both of them. Oh boy, he hoped Ieaeka didn't suffer either.
"I'm sure of it. He always keeps us all safe." He would bow to Ieaeka before giving a sad smile to Andy and then moved over to outright hug him. "Really, Dad. And take care of Lila." he would let go and watch Andy and Ieaeka walk off, sighing slightly.

Andy finished his meal and then waited for Ieaeka to finish, though he raised his brow and looked pretty damn proud of himself for that compliment. From a PRINCESS, no less, who was probably disgusted at his piratey behavior. he wouldn't make any comments or rub it in though. Though he nodded to Ieaeka and felt his brother's hand on his shoulder. He looked over and then was bombarded by a Benedict hug. He'd hug him back carefully, not used to his son's sudden affections (Reuben usually kept his distance).
"Thanks. And you two take care." With that he would walk out, and escape the deck, helping Ieaeka down and then whistling to Lila, who was splashing around in a nearby rainpuddle.
".... Lila, I swear you do this so we have to wash you." Andy grumbled to the horse as she neighed in content.

Ieaeka followed in silence, letting herself be helped down off the ship and onto the ground, her rucksack still neatly stowed out of the way. She'd pick it up as Andy hailed down Lila and then look over to the man and horse. She was a little dirty, having been playing in a rainpuddle, and she smiled lightly at the man's banter with the animal.
She'd walk up and wait until Andy was on the mare's back, before reaching up to take his hand and hoist herself up as well, riding side saddle. "Andromeda. May I ask a question?"

Andromeda managed to still Lila long enough to adjust her saddle and then climb up on her back, holding his hand out to help Ieaeka up as well. The young horse flicked her ears around, waiting to see what was going on. The man then put aside his own sacks, and patted her mane and then spoke up to the horse.
"Okay, we're heading out. Hope you're ready for a three day travel, Lila..." He spoke to her quietly before glancing behind him. of course his attention was diverted when he hiked Lila to get moving. Ieaeka wanted to ask him something?
"Yeah, go ahead."

Ieaeka quickly fastened her small bag to the saddle before climbing on, so she'd not have to worry about holding onto it the entire time. She'd shift, almost in Andy's lap, getting situated on the hard saddle as the man addressed the mare they were on.
They got a move on and soon were on the path towards their destination, a small city far away from Alfya where she could stay in safety and comfort.
"Before, you said something odd to your brother. 'Going in disguise as you would attract attention.' What did you mean by that? You carry the same face, do you not?"

Lila was used to traveling, so she snorted in confidence that she would be able to last the trip, as long as she had some of Andy's rations and lots of attention. Either way, she would listen in on the conversation as she trotted along, heading down a path and towards the safe place out of Alfya. They would be safe, after all, Lila believed herself to be an epic war horse, and her dream was to be part of the Serian warhorse army. ... Too bad nothing like that exists, but those horses were so cool.
Andromeda took a deep breath, normally used to females on his lap, but not in this way. She was a princess, but the road ahead kept him distracted as well. Plus he had to explain about Cepheid, though he wouldn't reveal Cepheid's disguise.
"Cepheid goes out in disguise to sell his items. Since we share the same face, he knew he couldn't walk around since someone would have arrested him thinking he was me. Besides, nobody knew I had an identical twin. Except maybe a few people in Dula." He explained. "Such is the problem of being a pair of identical twins..."

Ieaeka's gaze never faltered from the road ahead. The close quarters weren't completely forgin to her. When she rode with her bodyguard, they rode in the same manner, though he was typically armored, so being able to feel Andromeda's bare chest against her back was a unique feeling.
"I see. I was under the impression he was a fisherman. Am I correct?" Sounded a little odd, though. A masked man selling fish? "The only masked peddler I can recall would be The Star Man. However last I heard, he and you were not on amicable terms." She had heard about that scuffle in Dula, Andy. "What is it like, having a brother? I was raised without a sibling, I know not the feeling of blood companionship with another mine own age."

Andromeda wasn't used to riding horses for the longest time, even if he was trained to, much less riding with a woman. He figured she was used to the close contact and he didn't mind, since he tended to get into people's personal space. He held his breath when she mentioned The Star Man, but... it seems that pretend scuffle he had worked wonders. Andy had to laugh.
"The Star Man? Oh that proffy, snot nosed, high on his horse-no offense, Lila-... overconfident ass can go dance to The Sugar Plum Fairy for all I care." No, he wasn't mocking you, Cepheid, he was just keeping up the ruse. Even if Lila didn't approve of that high horse comment, snorting in discontent. Though she asked about his twin sibling and he thought back to his childhood, how he played with him, and wrestled with him, and much odler how they tease each other, and for the first time, he completely relaxed, and he felt... wonderful.
"Cepheid... you know, having a sibling is fun. Let me tell you, sometimes they get on your nerves and you annoy them a lot and vice versa, but you still care for him. Like how Ceph and I would work together to get on my parent's nerves or if he or I got hurt, we always had the other to help us feel better. Even today, we always look out for each other. If there's anybody that I can pour all of my faith and trust in, it's my brother. I seriously love him." He smiled, looking out in the distance, those memories long gone, but not forgotten.

"I can see the affection." Ieaeka commented with a slight smile. She also giggled lightly as Lila snorted. She was a smart horse, wasn't she? She broke her gaze from the road and looked up at Andy. She was much smaller than the man, so she could easily look up at him without having to turn. He was smiling, his demeanor was much more relaxed. It seemed his brother was a nice subject.
She listened to him talk, and smiled softly. "Someone to put your faith in..." She muttered. "Mine bodyguard, he was raise beside me. I suppose, using the definition you've given, he is a brother to me. I pick on him, and he picks on me. I trust him completely, and he always looks out for me." She smiled, the sheer extent of her naivety becoming visible as she clasped her hands. "Yon brother seems like a kind soul. You said he and your son were influencing you. Is he the reason you are so kind to me?"

Andy chuckled, oddly feeling very relaxed. usually his conversations with other women were... negative. he always spoke about how bad his past is but... this time he was talking about something nice, pleasant. It made him feel good. Of course he wasn't initially paying attention to Ieaeka as she looked up at him, focusing on the road, but he glanced down at her. She looked funny at that angle.
"Yeah. Even Sine, my ex. She's a beautiful woman and has a great husband. She sacrificed a lot just to make sure that Benedict didn't grow up with a single unemployed teenager girl." He sighed. "And he's definitely grown to be a great kid. He wants to own his own ranch too someday, along with this horse, Lila. Reuben's a bit like me, more of a thief, he likes to steal from the rich and give to the poor."
Lila lifted her muzzle as the conversation went to her. Yes she was prideful, though Andromeda had to change the subject. Especially since they were talking about his brother and he sighed, thinking about all the bad thigns he had done, and how it wasn't needed, because... he had his brother back. Speaking of brothers, it seems Ieaeka had a new brother in this bodyguard of hers. He made a mental note to try and not get punched by him in the future.
"I lost everything. I had nothing left, so I just went all out and became the pirate everybody knows. Now that I have Cepheid back and I can keep an eye on Sine and my two sons, I have a purpose now. I have something in my life to look forward too, a real life with sons and grandkids... Not a wife though. Hell knows my luck with women. Cepheid and Benedict both bashed it into my head verbally that I needed to settle down and find a new lease on life." He shrugged. "It's obviously working."

Ieaeka's expression grew curious as he spoke of the woman Sine. She wanted to ask the details of Ben's birth, but didn't want to pop Andy's good mood. She held her tongue on the matter. "Really now? There is plenty of untamed land just waiting to be farmed outside the city. Has he considered looking for a state loan? We'd be able to give him land and money to start, all he'd be asked for is a few well bred horses in a few years, some livestock maybe, depending on what he raises." Her expression shifted as the topic shifted to his other son. "I'm afraid I cannot condone theft, even if it does have charitable ends."
She let the conversation change, and she asked her question, an expression of sympathy coming across her face. "I see. There must be something keeping you in the skies. Do you know what it is?"
