FEBRUARY 5TH, 8:00 AM A plain looking wooden carraige was pulled along the road on that brisk winter morning, frost coated the ground and made it hard, causing the wheels of the carriage to clatter loudly. Pulled by a team of two horses, the transport moved quickly along the path, moving away from the city. The only person visible was the small man steering the animals. Several miles out, the carraige came to a rough stop, causing the cargo inside to fly from their seats and land in a pile on the carriage floor. One of the horses had thrown a shoe and stumbled, ramming into the other horse and ripping them free from their reigns, sending the carriage off the path and letting the two horses gallop off in fear as they weren't sure what had happened. Seeing his livlihood galopping off, the small man leapt from the carriage and went running off after the closest one, leaving the carraige and it's cargo unattended.

Andromeda wasn't the type to really other with Alfya's outskirts, but he had his own little missions to go along with the situation. After all, he had to collect some food for his sons and his ex-girlfriend, and he requested nobody followed him in case they were needed back in Seria. It may have been a few weeks since that incident, but Andy wasn't going to take any chances.
He took Benedict's horse, Lila, and galloped along one of the roads to collect some goods. As in steal goods. Sine's place was in desperate need for repairs and she didn't have the money to repair the apothecary as it was in a state. All of the medicine broke off the shelves in the fire and not much was able to be salvaged. It would take ages to restock, and her husband had to help the wounded.
Andy felt compelled to help his ex, their son, and Caden's new family. It was in his heart. Either way, he heard the sond of commotion ahead and then put Lila into a trot as he watched a man run off, leaving his precious cargo out in the open. Andromeda's lips slowly turned up into a wide grin. Whatever was in there was important, looking at the detail of the carriage. he slowed Lila to a stop, parked her butt between a bush and a tree, relatively hidden, and got off of her. He put his flintlock in his holster and then patted Lila's nose.
"I'll be back a moment. Gonna swipe some things from that carriage." He spoke up quietly, before slithering and approaching the carriage carefully. Lila stared in shock at this spectacle, letting out a small whinny.
Do you have any idea what's in there, captain?!

There was one trunk tied to the back of the carriage, and the curtains were pulled on the inside, obscuring the contents.
Just as Andy would get close, the carriage would shift and the door would open, releasing a cloaked figure, who stumbled outside and knelt to the ground, looking a little dizzy. After a few moments, it would stand and turn to look around, giving a squeak and a step back as she saw a scarf clad man behind her with a gun.
"Stand down!" She said almost in reflex, blue eyes obscured slightly by the hood of the traveling cloak flashing. "I am unarmed!" Where was that useless carriage driver?!

This was a delicacy in the cold winter months of February. He could sell off the items, and nobody would know the difference. Andy, naturally, was smart enough to apply makeup to his scar as well as gel his hair so it didn't look like a total wreck. He still kept his belt with his sword and gun, mostly for protection and defense, though he wore a much nicer pair of slacks tucked into boots. He wore a poet's shirt with a brown coat over the top and the star spangled necklace. tucked neatly around him was a blue scarf Sine gave him.
Andromeda was about to reach the cargo and pick it open before he heard a sound. The pirate backed up quickly and was about to run before he saw a cloaked figure stumble out. The man immediately whipped out his pistol to aim at the cloaked figure, however she was unarmed. He paused for a moment before walking forward to open the carriage. As soon as he confirmed that she was completely alone, he would turn to the woman.
"Surprise to see an unarmed woman abandoned by a cowardly chauffeur out of the city." Andy's voice, still as slick as ever, would melt the air. "You're a goldmine for treasure. Lucky that I'm nicer than I was or I would have done worse. So what do you have in this thing?" His gun still aimed at her.

The woman clasped her hands at her chest, looking slightly nervous, but standing her ground. He voice was a soothing one, though the fact that he kept the gun aimed at her, and was clearly interested in her possessions, she did not find herself lulled.
Despite the threat, she met his gaze from under the cloak. "Nothing of real value. Mine clothes and some books. Surely you would not rob a woman of her garbs in these times?" Her tone was almost...challenging?
"Sir, if you are a citizen of these lands harmed by the attack, you needn't bring yourself to robbery. There are plenty of charities working to help those affected."

Andromeda watched the woman carefully, not bothering to know who she is or what she was doing, but then she spoke, her voice commanding. It was.. refreshing. usually he was the one giving out orders, even to Loki and despite his fun with her willingness to steal from him, this? ... Hm, she was like Sine. Andy wondered why he was attracted to women of power. Probably for the challenge. He wouldn't let those feelings get in the way though. His voice, despite soothing, he knew he had her at arms.
"Makes sense. You're probably a soul who is trying to escape the town's insanity." He was half feeling bad for the woman. Part of his wanted to let her go and be on her way, the other half wanted to rob her blind. of course she spoke up abotu him resorting to robbery, and finally he had the nerve to put his gun back in his pocket and lean forward slightly, look her straight in the eyes and then speak up, almost flirting with her. Even if you didn't see his mouth, you could tell he was smirking.
"Darling, I've always resorted to robbery. not usually of your kind, but like my friend always said, 'Steal from the rich, and give to the poor." he then pulled his scarf down to whistle for Lila to come. The horse scrambled up and then trotted over to the carriage, noting it's design. She then whinnied at Andy.
WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID?!

IF only Andy knew who he was talking to, the woman frowned lightly, maintaining her ground as she wondered where the driver was.
She shifted slightly as she spoke to the man, not moving away, just shifting into a less strained position, smoothing her cloak as the hood kept draped over her head, her eyes sharp and steeled. "You could say that." She answered. She hoped this man would just bugger off and let her be, though she was getting the feeling that it wouldn't be the case. His smirking was irritating though. At least he put the gun away. She relaxed slightly, though she knew he could draw it at any moment, at least he wasn't waving it around. Those things went off randomly sometimes.
"I respectable motto, I admit. Better than some." She said, her hands clasped at her waist now. "Though I only have a couple pounds on me, to pay for my food and board during my travels." The man pulled down his scarf and whistled, and she could have sworn he looked familiar. She then glanced over to see a well taken care of mare trot forward. "Beautiful mare." She commented. Small talk while being held up? Wow.
Seriously. What was taking the driver? It didn't take that long to gather a couple of trained horses, did it?

Andromeda grunted as she spoke up, however the look in her eyes. No she wasn't any sort of woman. There was certainly something about her. Something very unusual. He would have to see to that later, though right now the most he could do was irritate her with his smirking, though he was comfortable enough to pull down his scarf a bit more as he watched Lila flick her tail back in irritation.
"I could say that? What, is there something... different about your case?" Andy cocked his eyebrows in interest. At least she was relaxed. Honestly, to him, she was more interesting to talk to than steal money from. Besides it's only a couple of shillings. Andy sighed and rolled his eyes, turning to her and approaching her. "You're a smart traveller, young lady. Well played, and quite beautiful."
Andromeda got close, but to too close, before he quickly wrapped his arm around her, crouched and then slung her over his shoulder. If there's one thing he could thank, it was the fact he could pick up a woman of her size and grace and he hoped wherever his hand went it didn't offend her. Lila just STARED at what Andy was trying to do before she decided... to hell with this.
Though Andy already had his foot on one of the saddle holsters.
"Don't mind if I take you?"

The woman shuffled slightly as the man asked his questions. "Technically speaking, everyone's case is different, so claiming mine is would really make no difference." She side stepped the question.
Thankfully, he obviously believed her when she told him she only had two pounds on her. It was true, but still, at least he didn't frisk her. She didn't comment at the compliment, though she did avert her gaze slightly to look out at the area. There were several hills, so wherever her ride got off to, he was a ways off because she couldn't see him at all. That made her nervous. What happened to him?! Were they working together? She hoped not.
Though the last thing she expected and the first thing she hoped would happen occurred. He wrapped his arm around her slender waist and picked her up, causing her let let out a cry of surprise and struggle. "Of course I mind! Unhand me this instant!" She cried, trying to break free, though her captor with many times stronger than she was, a nigh toothpick compared to him. "HELP! SOMEONE!"
Unbeknownst to the pair, but just over the hill, out of sight, a couple other more cutthroat bandits had caught up to the helpless driver and ended him silently, and were busy wrangling the two horses for their own possession, not yet bothering with the carriage as they were more preoccupied with the pence in the dead man's pockets. Though the woman's yelling got their attention, and they looked at one another, figuring that there was a woman nearby. They started discussing silently the worth of investigating. The driver was obviously not a common one, so more than likely there were guards nearby.

This particular pirate had no idea about those particular bandits, though right now he was focused more on his pretty possession. He swung his leg over to get up on Lila as she grumbled about the situation and he sat the woman up nicely. For now, he would hike Lila and she would get moving. The faster he got out of there, the less likely she would get raided by bandits. He kept his arm around her waist.
"I think not! Do you want to fall off this and possibly break your neck? I wouldn't need to use lethal force." Andy spoke up as Lila scented nearby thugs and scent of fear upon a pair of horses. She got nervous, and when she got nervous, she made mistakes. "Oh quiet. You'll attract the local thugs."
Naturally, Andy would pull her into a deep kiss to possibly shut her up, however as soon as he got a good look of her face and the hood fell down to her shoulders, Andromeda's heart stopped, and his body froze.

The woman struggled and did her best to free herself as she was hauled up onto the horse's back and they galloped off. No!
"Stop this horse and release me!" She cried. She was scared, but to her credit she wasn't hysterical, her voice still firm.
"What do you want with m-" She was cut off mid sentence as she felt the man's lips over her own and her eyes widen as she felt his tongue invade her mouth. The hood fell from her head, revealing her face completely, her ears adorned with silver earrings and around her forehead a silver circlet, revealing her identity.
Princess Ieaeka Hakiru DuKair of Seria.
She's push at Andy's chest as he froze and rip her face away from his, feeling violated. "What do you think you're doing!?" She snapped, wiping her mouth.

Now, the kiss definitely could have been better, but honestly he hadn't done tongue action in awhile, and he should know better than to keep the tongue in his own mouth. Either way, she was a spicy individual and he liked it. Honestly he could keep this woman just to himself. Well except the one slight problem. The fact that Lila was running off course, and the fact he just took off on a horse with the Princess of Seria. When she pushed him away and demanded what he was doing, his mouth was agape in shock.
"Princess?! Holy shi-" WHAM. Lila bucked and smacked Andy right on the head by a low hanging branch. "OW! LILA! Yes I know this was stupid! I can't speak Horse you know! I'll take you back to my son's-" With that he skidded Lila to a halt, Andromeda nearly smacking his forehead with Ieaeka's. For the longest time he just stared at her, with the most awkward expression ever. He honestly had no idea what to do now, if he let her go, then she would call for authorities and he would be ID'd in a jiffy.
"... What the HELL are you doing out here?! Seriously, you're a member of the royal family and you're out here... with no guards. Alone." Of course, he then caught his eye on Lila and all of his expression sank into a very serious expression, watching Benedict's horse carefully. Her stands looked like she was about to bolt, and her ears were flicked forward, as if listening to something in the distance.

Given the fact that it was the Princess's first kiss aside from kissing the cheek of her father, she honestly wished it was better. Finally detaching her assailant, she glared at him, demanding answers, though whatever the man's identity, he clearly only just realized hers. Great, she was kidnapped by an idiot.
Suddenly, partway through the man's sentence, the horse bucked and the man was struck across the face by a branch. She resisted the urge to smirk as he suddenly started talking to the horse. The sudden stop cause her own head to toss forward, and it only barely missed slamming into the man's, and once they were stopped, she started to struggle again as he looked at her.
And then he was asking her questions, and she looked at him with an expression of distaste. "Why do you think?!" She snapped. "My father didn't want me in the capital after such an unexpected attack, he was sending me away in secret to protect me. Guards would have raised suspicion." No need to be secretive, not like she wasn't already outed. "He'll be expecting word from me. If he doesn't get it, he'll turn the entire country upside down looking for me. Let me go this instant!"
The man's expression changed, and it wasn't in response to her words. Confused, she fell into silence and wanted to know what was going on.
The two men had finally caught the horses and mounted them. They weren't happy, but obliged their riders. The pair inspected the carriage and after going through the meager possessions of the princess, a couples nice dresses and some books, they followed the hoof tracks and were approaching the pair.

Andromeda felt the situation getting much much worse. There was something going on and now Lila and Ieaeka were in a rut. No, he was not going to let the princess go. If there was some thing he learned about surviving as a pirate and a victim of Dula, he knew about danger, and right now they were in some very serious danger. He didn't even need any second guessing to comply to Ieaeka.
"... I know perfectly well about the power an angry father can do. I am a father." He spoke, his voice dangerously quiet. No, right now he felt himself projecting the empathy of the situation. This was the King's daughter. Andy remembered what happened with Benedict and Reuben and how he tore Dula apart just to get him back. "Of course, this isn't Dula. I won't harm you, as little as you trust me now."
Andy shut up, looking at Lila and as soon as her ears flicked back and her head moved to watch behind her, he knew what was up. There were people following them. Andromeda suppressed a swear and he pulled Ieaeka's cloak over her. He then pulled out his flintlock and eased Lila into a hiding spot, specifically a place with rocks where she wouldn't leave that many hoofprints.

Ieaeka wanted to be let go, but she knew that likely wasn't going to happen; still worth a shot, though. She was a little surprised to hear the man was a father, but it took all kinds, she supposed. Was he stealing to help his children, was that it? His tone sent shivers up her spine, and she stopped struggling. Aside from the kiss, he was keeping his hands to himself, for the most part. She just hoped he'd not do anything more than that.
His comment about Dula was surprising, and she wondered why he mentioned it. Now that she looked at him, he did look kind of Dulan. Was he an immigrant? She tried not to discriminate, though she suspected he was Dulan, given his behavior. Still, he promised not to harm her; she couldn't trust him to keep that promise, though. "Why do you not let me free, then?"
Something about the change in tone caused Ieaeka to cease speaking. Something in the man's tone brooked no argument. There was something there, a third variable that she could not see nor sense, that had the man's attention. Suddenly, her hood was forced back over her head, and she let out a squeak but didn't argue, she could hear the hoofbeats. Looking from under the fabric, she saw the two men, and their mounts. "The carriage horses." She breathed quietly. She feared for the well being of the driver, and was shamed that she thought ill of the man, now likely hurt or worse.
The two men followed the prints, though they became harder to see as the ground grew harder. The morning frost already made the ground hard, so now it was impossible to see. "Where the hell did they go?"
"You sure this is the way the prints led?"
"Positive. Come on, these horses are nice, but finding that woman will be more worth our while."
"You sure she's nobel?"
"Look at those dressed, the money that was in that dead man's pocket."
Ieaeka let out a breath, covering her mouth with her hand, closing her eyes and bowing her head lightly.
