((Near a small river on the country outskirts. Mid day February 21st. All welcome))
The noise of the river was quiet yet soothing as Loki worked her magic with a scrubbing board, soap cake and wooden bucket. It was her turn on washing duty, and she didn't mind. For the time of year, the sun was actually out, giving a warm glow to the green country side.
A makeshift washing line hung above her head, attatched to a pole, and the air ship, with the clothes she had hung up to dry waving gracefully in the cold breeze.
She huffed, and pulled out the next shirt, after battering away many of the tough stains, and gave it a rinse in the clear water of the river, before ringing it out, and pegging it up all fresh and clean.
Loki looked to the side of her, and pulled the next wash load in to the the bucket, and began scrubbing, her sleeves pulled up, and jacket off, hung up to dry with the rest of the clothes. She rubbed her forehead, and a few suds dripped on to her nose, making it wrinkle.
Loki just smiled to herself, and continued with her chore.

Since nobody can do this job for him, and even then he would refuse any help, Trigg has to manually wash his own laundry by himself. Many would say that it is a task for women but he believes that men are as capable as women in any domestic affairs. Besides he doesn't have a woman to do that for him.
Carrying a basket filled with his dirty laundry on his left arm, he heads over to a river which he happened to noticed while he was exploring the region. It is far away from curious stares and it's peaceful. On his right arm, he carries a washing board made by himself. It looks common but it has a handle that when turn, squeezes the water out of the clothes, and it has a spring which can be turned like a children's wind-up toy. This activates the plank of the board and makes it vibrate and spin the various cylinders it has to improve the scrubbing of the clothes. Definitively a marvel.
Once he was near the river, he placed the items on the ground and took out the soap from a compartment on his washing board. Just as he was about to take out a shirt with a splash of an oil stain from the bucket, he noticed the woman washing her laundry not too far from him. How come he didn't noticed her before? Maybe he was distracted with the fact that he hasn't seen his partner Clockwork all day.
With a slight gaze and a bow of the head, he complimented the woman. "G-Good afternoon."

As Loki continued her chore, a movement from the corner of her eye caught her attention as soon as Trigg spoke up. She hadn't even noticed the stranger near by, and was sure he wasn't there earlier.
She rubbed some soap suds off of her nose with her fore arm, before nodding back at him. "Good afternoon!" She responded, as she started on another shirt, grinding the soap against the material and grating aginst the washboard. She stopped to catch her breath.
"I didn't expect anyone else to be out here." Loki added on, shifting the position of her legs as she realised just how much circulation she had lost. She grunted as she dealt with the prickling sensation in her legs, dropping her soap and scrubbing brush back in to the tub of water with a loud 'splosh!'

Normally Trigg would not wash his clothes here, he has a machine that does that for him. Sometimes it does a better job than others though and today it was one of those bad days so he decided to do it manually.
"Neither did I, to be honest. I suppose these days there are little people that wash their laundry by hand."
Says the pot back to the kettle. Trigg supports the use of machines to aid in this kind of small work, mostly because he lives by himself after all. His shop and the small projects he has to himself always get in the way of the regular house chores.
