If player takes more than a week to post, permission to skip is granted as this is a pseudo-plot thread for the sake of In game holiday and no one likes stalled threads.]] [/center] The roads of Truesdale were flocked with people, vendors, and shoppers walking around, peddling inventions, jewels, knickknacks, and more as the people walked in their good clothes, younger girls dressed with silk wings in the guise of harvest faeries of folklore, jumping and dancing around when they weren't distracted by games and baubles. Amongst the vendors of food, games, toys, tools, and the like, were some stages which had inventors showing off their inventions, auctioning off some of the more popular ones, and some stages had acrobats on them, flipping high into the air and doing impressive stunts and leaps, seemingly defying the laws of gravity as they did. The overall feeling of joy and festiveness was infectious, and it would take a real grump to keep a frown amongst all the smiles.

Thorn was looking around more then happy with him self with the events of the day, loving the sound of the music and food put him into more then a happy mood, he was looking for a few people in the crowd in hopes of finding his friends. "Now where are they..." he simply mumbled.
He was notably in better clothing, but not his formal where, seemed he had done a bit of shopping to avoid Saul making him where the monkey suit again.

Dressed in a nice frilly red dress that was bunched up more in the back than anything, Sarina had done her best to save up money to actually get a dress like this. The young lady who worked the tailor was nice enough to work with her size and her own class as well.
She was dodging people, trying to stay out of their way as well as trying to get used to her shoes, the overall feel of this dress, as well as trying to see where she is. Thorn would be around, she knew it, and she wanted to see him, maybe talk to him.
Maybe have dinner with him?

Anita had dressed up in one of her nicest dresses, green in color, and hats so that she looked appropriate for the harvest festival. Her benefactors had come as well, but were off chatting gaily with some friends, while her mother had opted out of coming. She fiddled with the earrings that she had bought from Corina some time back which were on her, and looked around.
Hm, would her newest friends be here? Thorn, and Crash, and a few other people that she had met recently? It would be nice to chat with people that she knew that wouldn't automatically judge her for what she looked like.

Guess who is managing the fireworks for tonight? None other than the crazy explosives expert Crash McKee. He didn't even bother to dress nice either, sticking with his white pants, his boots, as well as his typical undershirt and on top of that would be his aviator jacket.
He wore his visor as well to protect his eyes from any stray sparks. Either way he had made a cool arrangement of fireworks, before he stepped back to light them. Running back a few steps, he'd look up and then yelp in excitement as the fireworks went up and exploded into pretty colors, falling and then extinguishing.
Mad laughter came out of the manchild as he collected some more fireworks.

Thorn looked around a bit more before jumping at lest a foot in the air with a yelp hearing the sudden explosion, yep, Crash was here somewhere and he had explosives, not going to be a calm night at all.
After calming him self down he continued to look around before spotting Sarina heading over to her. "There you are, hah" Thorn chuckled as he came up to her in his purple suite. He looked at her for a moment and in his shyness blushed. "Look rather nice this fine day." Thorn smiled pulling his hat down slightly.
From the corner of his eye he thought he saw Anita but as soon as he looked he couldn't see her anymore.

With festivals come selling items. That was what Corina was thinking when setting up her decorated stand (specifically for the theme of the festival), ready to sell some jewelry before partaking in the festivities herself. After all, it's what her mother would want her to do. Work now, play later!
Corina sat up the sale sign, "Everything is 1 shilling!" the sign read in bold, blue, cursive writing. "Heh . . . Let's hope for some good sales today!" Corina thought to herself.
The jewel maker was wearing a royal blue, sleeveless dress that would most likely touch the floor if she was not wearing heels (Speaking as if she needed heels, 5'7" here!). To match the dress, she had a royal blue hat with a white ribbon circling it. It had a white flower towards the side of it.

Sarina would most certainly brighten up when she saw Thorn through the crowd. Oh this is nice! She'd smile towards the lot as she walked towards him, nearly bumping into someone and getting yelled at, but she wouldn't let it ruin her day.
"Hey Thorn!" She'd give him an eager and happy smile. And then blush in modesty when he commented her dress. "Oh thanks. I don't normally wear these kinds of dresses. How are you?"

Saul, in all his grumpy-pantsness, was in fact present during the festival. He was dressed well, as normal, and walked the rows of vendors, stopping to admire blades and books. He'd be standing at a weapon's booth, examining a very beautiful sword when he heard the voice of his brother nearby. He'd hand the man the money for the blade and, after a thank you, walk in the direction of Thorn, holding the sheathed weapon.
He'd stand aside, watching without being seen, as that was a talent of his. Just disappearing in plain sight.
Just as well, because at almost the exact same time that Saul saw Thorn, so did a young woman named Juniper. She had managed to duck her mother and was walking alone for a while. She was dressed in an emerald green dress that brushed the ground and black boots, her long hair falling naturally.
Nervously, she'd walk up to Thorn and the Eastern woman he was speaking with. "H-Hello again, Thorn." She said, trying to smile, though it was clear by her glances she felt intimidated by the woman he was talking to. Not because she was eastern, but because she was just so much prettier than she was[in her opinion].

Anita thought she spotted Thorn in the crowd with a another woman, and she thought she saw the lady that she had bought earrings from as well, but some people passed in front of her and she could no longer see them. Hm, now where was everyone that she knew?
At the sound of fireworks exploding and the manic laughter that sounded familiar, Anita raised her eyebrows. Yup, that was one person she would probably be able to find. She slipped through the crowd, searching for the bright red hair near the fireworks, before finally spotting the man. She grinned at him.
"Why am I not surprised, Crash?"

Yes, Crash was oh so familiar with his bright red hair, and it seems that Anita had found him as well. He'd grin towards her as she spoke up and then pulled his hair back, rustling through one of the boxes. of course a man stopped him, telling him to stop setting off fireworks in the daytime and to wait until night. He pouted, but complied.
"Well, I was having fun, but now I have to stop blowing things up." He then offered his arm to Anita and looked around, seeing the tall figure of Thorn. Fighting off the urge to tackle him down, he would walk over to her, with Anita in tow and then wave eagerly to them.
"HEY! I found you!" He gave them a happy grin. "What's up?"

Business was a little bit slow today, Corina thought. She stretched a bit and then relaxed, looking around at the people enjoying the festival. In an hour she'd be enjoying the festivities as well! Corina looked to see a familiar group of people near the middle. She recognized Anita, though not knowing her name, as the girl whom her friend next to her had paid earrings for. Corina then saw Thorn, the man that the girl's friend tackled, and then saw a not-so-familiar woman next to him. In fact, two of them.
"Hn..." Corina started to think, "Those two must be new friends of them?"
She then saw someone come up to her stand and she began her business again.

"Quiet fine I do say and might I also say that I will take this rarity into remembrance." Thorn chuckled with a smile. Her then perked with a slight look of horror hearing the familiar women. Oh no had Saul found him? He calmed him self before looking back, ah no, it was just Juniper. "Ahh Hello there lady Juniper...This is my dear friend lady Sarina, Sarina this lady Juniper...My brother introduced us, she is...Something of a new friend" Thorn smiled not exactly sure what she was to him at the moment, friend? acquiescence? saul's attempt to try and kill his forbidden ship?
And then he heard the familiar voice of beast boy Crash and instantly braced him self for impact as if a new knee jerk reaction. The shops women might have had a clear sight of them now.

Sarina herself nodded in agreement to the event. She wasn't sure what might happen here, or if everyone would get drunk and Anita would have to drag them all home, or something else silly would happen. After all, Crash is involved.
"Indeed." She smiled, but then there was yet another lady that came in and Sarina immediately got jealous and then tackled Juniper down and started a cat fight. Sarina wasn't sure what to make of it. A new friend? A rival?
"Hello Miss Juniper, nice to meet you." She would smile and curtsy, mostly automatically as she was trained to respect the lighter skinned people. Plus she had no idea who exactly Juniper was so she would remain on guard for now.
But then Thorn seemed to be stiff and the loud obnoxious sound of another person's voice came in. Okay who was THIS person now? And... was he with another Easterner?!

((OOC: Skipping Saul as it's been over a week.))
Of course Anita would be the only sober one at the party, being a very young lady and therefore not being allowed to drink. Right now, though, she was watching Crash set off the fireworks before he was stopped by someone else. She patted him when he pouted. "They'll be much more interesting to look at during the night, when everyone can see the colors."
When Crash offered her his arm, she took it, catching sight of Thorn with some other people as well. She waved politely to Thorn as she and Crash arrived to the others. "Hello!" she said, with a curtsey as there were people she didn't know.
Plus, she didn't know how the strangers would react to her. One of them was another female Easterner and secretly her cousin or aunt because everyone is related! *shot*, but older than her, and the others were typical Truesdale civilians, a man and a woman.
