((OOC: September 18, 1622, afternoon. Open to all.))
Anita stretched a bit as she shopped along the line of stores. With her being off-duty for now, she had been sent to gather groceries for everybody. Some of the vegetables looked not-so-good, but what could one do? It wasn't as if fresh vegetables could be shipped in an instant. That would take wizardry.
She also gathered a few fruits and grains as well. They were always good, and she could always make jam or something out of them. Though she did have money saved for something special, if it turned out she needed to do just that. Maybe some jewelry, or maybe some nice clothes that were slightly better than what she had.
A girl could dream, after all.
As long as nobody made rude remarks about what she looked like... it wasn't her fault!

Just Anita's luck, Corina had a portable shop stand open in Truesdale for the day. Her jewelry accessories and stained glass pictures were lined up on the table and against it as well. There wasn't a large crowd at her stand and Corina was able to relax (And make sure none of the stained glass fell over).
She took off her hat and sat it to the side to prepare for a long needed stretch. "Hnnnnnh~" She then looked up at the sky, declaring it a pretty good day. Nice and calm, just to Corina's liking.

Calm? Calm was boring to Crash McKee. It felt too normal for the crazy guy, after all and right now he wanted something epic and exciting to do. He was off work as well, so he decided he would jog. It was a warm day either way for the month of September, and Crash was dressed... appropriately for the weather at the least.
A loose, white sleeveless shirt, loose grey cargo pants that one would see in the military, and boots. He wore dog tags that marked where he was born-Dula, but it held his only known last name, so he kept them as the only thing that was part of his past.
Crash completely ignored the people near him that managed to drop and scatter apples, grapefruit, and pears as he stepped over a few, only slowing down a bit to catch an apple with his instep and kick his leg up to cause the apple to fly up. Crash caught it.
"It's raining fruit, halleluja~."

Anita's eyes spotted the jewelry shop stand that Corina had open, and was unable to help herself. The young girl headed over there, smoothing her dress, as a few of the pieces caught her eye, approaching Corina with a smile. Maybe some of the pieces would be decently-priced for how well they appeared to be made.
"Hello~. Is all of this for sale?"
Of course then a commotion behind her showed that someone had knocked fruit over, but Anita only turned around when she heard the familiar voice singing with an apple in his hand. Why was it, every time that she bumped into Crash, something had crashed?
"Crash! Hello!"

Corina looked up to Anita and smiled back. "Yes!" she declared happily, until she saw her hat was on the table and picked it up to put it on her head. "Except for this," Corina added with a giggle. "The jewelry are all 3 shillings and the glass is--Oh my!"
Corina looked startled to see a few people making a bit of a fuss behind the two. Watching on, she saw that the customer knew this person named Crash. "Nn...?"

Crash himself tossed a shilling out of his pocket to one of the people there, stopping one of the grapefruit from getting into the street as he moved past the commotion. It wasn't until he heard his name that he realized that Anita was there and he waved to her.
"Hey Anita!" He then jogged over to her, taking a generous bite out of the apple as he caught up. "Nice to see you again. You out looking for stuff?"
He glanced at the glass and jewelry that she seemed to be looking at, and then to the very pretty babe girl that was managing the shop. He'd lift a couple of fingers in greeting. YAY MORE PEOPLE.

Anita giggled a bit as the vendor put her hat back on her head and told her that everything except for the hat was for sale. She examined the jewelry to see whether she could find any pieces that she would really like.
"They're all looking quite lovely, I might just pick a few out~. How much are the stained glass pieces?" Three shillings wasn't a bad price at all, not at all. Though she did wonder how much the others were. She'd have to find out once neither of them were distracted with Crash.
Who had just run up to her while munching on the apple that was there. She giggled a bit again at him. "Yes, shopping for groceries and anything nice that I could find, like the jewelry this lady has. What about you?"

Corina smiled and nodded. "The stained glass pieces are 6 shillings."
She then looked up to Crash and nodded to him, waving back. Corina stood up as it was probably rude to be a sales person and be sitting down. "Are you wanting to buy something as well?" she addressed Crash.

Crash went quiet, surprisingly when the price of the stained glass was mentioned. Hey, stained glass was hard to come across anyway, and maybe Meredith could use some decor, but he had no idea what she liked. Bleh. Oh well. Anita spoke up and he nodded to her.
"I was out running. Seemed like a good time to do that." Usually he jogged in the morning, but he didn't have time, so afternoon it was! Crash pulled back his possibly damp red hair as Corina stood up and asked him if he wanted anything.
Well, the both of them would find Crash was a good 4 or 5 inches shorter than the taller female and he gave an awkward smile back. Crash was used to being the shorty... around guys. Females made it weird for him.
"Well if I could buy height..." He started.

Oh, only six shillings? That was a great deal. Anita looked around at the jewelry and the stained glass, deciding that if she found some that she really liked, she would get one of each. She noticed a pair of earrings that looked rather nice, and continued to looked around for some more to see if there were any.
"And crashing into people?" she said with a bit of a teasing tone in her voice. It sure seemed like that he probably would have.
Either way, Corina was really tall. Taller than even Crash! She patted the man on the shoulder when he mentioned that he wished he could buy height. "You're a good height, Crash, don't worry."

Corina blinked and then made a nervous chuckle. "Eheheh..." Corina didn't know how to respond to things like these with people she hadn't met before. Corina was one to avoid ANYTHING that could offend a stranger.
She then adjusted her hat nervously, feeling a tiny bit on the awkward side.

Crash didn't know how to remedy the situation. He never really got mad, so he was just staring at Corina for awhile, even as Anita spoke up, and he could barely hear her. He jumped a bit when he was patted and he looked over to Anita, grinning a bit.
"Short's good." Yeah, shorts are good. They are comfy and easy to wear. He then looked at the jewelry, wondering how he would look wearing it. Probably not that good. Jewelry is a girl's thing.
"... So why do girls like jewelry?"

Anita blinked a bit as Crash seemed to become really out of it and only snapping out of whatever dazed he had been induced into when she patted him on the shoulder. What was that about shorts?
"Maybe, you seem like the sort of person that likes them." Anita of course tried to be as proper of a woman as she could without seeming like a snob, and therefore wouldn't be caught dead wearing a pair of shorts. That was completely unladylike!
"It's pretty and it looks good on us! Speaking of..." She gestured to a pair of earrings that had some green gemstones on them. "I'd like to buy these please."

Corina blinked, wondering why Crash was staring at her. Did she say something wrong? She didn't recall saying anything that could be offensive. But those thoughts were kicked out when Anita addressed her.
"Oh! Yes of course! 3 shillings, please!" Corina then said cheerfully, almost suddenly as if snapped out of thought.

Crash himself was pretty spacey, but that was part of his nature anyway. He'd adjust his top before looking over to Anita and Corina as they spoke up. No, he made no sense, but at least the others were happy. Okay so Anita wanted to get those, and Crash was tempted to pay them for her.
"Now I gotta be a gentleman here..." He dug into his pockets and then pulled out 3 shillings, handing them over to Corina. "And pay in my friend's place."
Crash, the kid who has manners and no manners at the same time. What an odd guy indeed.
