((Okay here goes my first try at this.))
Date: March 13th, 1622, 1:00 PM.
It had been a relatively nice day so far, though clouds where gathering, one those spontaneous Storms where possibility going to start soon. Thorn was mostly enjoying the weather before it was going to get bad, He was laid back in the grass.
He was in one the larger parks away from a lot of the noise, He did enjoy getting away from the noise and work every once in a while. "Does seem it will rain soon" he mumbled to him self, opening an eye looking up at the sky.

Moving silently over the grass, Saul finally spotted his brother, laying on the green covered ground.
"I must agree." He said calmly, standing a few feet behind his sibling, looking up at the cloud covered sky.
Once his brother's attention was on him, he spoke up. "It took a bit of doing to track you down." He said, sitting beside his brother. "Though most people remember a well dressed man covered in bandages." Saul playfully flicked one of the new additions to Thorn's bandage collection.
"What are you doing here, I was surprised that I didn't find you in the workshop." He said, idly loosening the silk scarf he wore around his neck. which was neatly tucked into his overcoat.

Thorn perked up looking to his elder sibling that came over and sat beside him "Ahh well I just needed a bit of a break from the sound, was starting to get a headache." he chuckled, with a slight grin.
"I do tend to stand out a bit don't I?" he added with a smile, looking at the newly added bandages. His mind wondering now why his brother was looking for him.
"So what brings you here?" He added. The wind had picked up slightly, but not enough to notice at the moment.

"Why else? I was worried you were testing one of your inventions and hurt yourself." Saul smirked, standing up. "One of these days, you're going to kill yourself, you know this, right?" He looked to his brother with a sincere expression. He was half joking, but he was half serious too. He didn't mind his brother's inventing, but he was just so accident prone about it.
"Also, I've been thinking." He paused. "You're 22 now, Thorn. Have you given any thought to your future? You can't rely on the family fortune your whole life. You're young enough and bright enough. Have you thought about traveling to Seria and looking into the universities there? I'm sure they'd kill to have a mind like yours on the books."
One might mistake this as Saul trying to get rid of his brother, but in all honesty, he was worried. He himself never had time to go to a university himself, as he had to keep the family business afloat, so everything he knew was self taught. Thorn didn't have that hurdle. Saul had seen to everything, and was handling the empire on his own.

Thorn could not help but smile at his elder brother. Then rub the back of his ear with a weak gin. "Ah, I'm careful enough to be sure that wont happen" He was rather sure enough of himself he'd take enough precautions to be sure he'd never get killed, hurt maybe, killed? no.
He flinched when Saul brought that up, He never liked the idea of leaving his brother or the idea of being told what to do, slightly annoyed him in a way He was more of the take it a part and put it back together kind of guy.
"Well...Slightly, but not completely. I do know that though." he admitted with a huff. In all honesty he wanted to enjoy what freedom he had at the moment and what time with his brother before any of that started, despite how close it might have been to running out. "I suppose I should be looking..Though bit worried about leaving you alone" he added as if he was kidding, but was more serious behind the joyful emotions.

"Please be sure you are careful. I'm not keen on the possibility of my brother being picked up with a spatula." Saul gave Thorn a sidelong glance.
He saw his brother's flinch, but didn't relent. He wasn't fond of the though of Thorn being where he wasn't, but he couldn't coddle his brother forever. They were both grown men. They'd have to start treading their own paths sooner or later.
"Do you, really?" Saul turned his full gaze to Thorn. "You say you do, but do you really understand just how important it is? Say I never marry, or something happens to me and you take control of the family business. Would you be able to handle it? Would you be able to teach your own child how to take control of things if I never have one of my own?" His expression dropped from it's stern one to a softer one as he sighed. "I know this is a lot of pressure, but it's not just us, Thorn. It's our future. Those who will come after us. And if, god forbid, anything happened to the family business, having a university under your belt will ensure that you will never know hunger."
Worried about leaving HIM alone? He actually chuckled at that. "Really now, Thorn. I believe I'd be fine." He said, oblivious that there was more way to hurt oneself than physical.

"Ah, Trust when I say you will not have to worry about that" he smiled a bit. He huffed slightly when Saul started, He really did not like the idea of it being brought up that something could happen to his elder brother, or something horrible happening again at all. Then again, that was life.
"Yes, I know..I know it's, just difficult to explain." he huffed, removing his hat and placing it on the ground; rubbing his head after, looking slightly frustrated with his own words.
He relaxed when he heard him chuckle, smiling slightly. An while it was true, Saul was not the one that had to worry about getting kicked out of places after knocking something over and so forth and so on, Thorn did worry about him though, was the only family he had left.
"...I don't really like the idea of leaving just yet " he mumbled softly.

That was life, and ignoring the grim possibilities was a sure way to wind up in ruin. As unpleasant as they were to talk about, it was necessary.
"I don't like the idea of you leaving either, Thorn." Saul said. "I'd much rather have you on hand, knowing how often you wind up hurting yourself, but Truesdale is primarily an industrial country. If you want proper schooling, you need to go to Seria." He paused. "It's not like we'll be very far apart. I actually intend on going with you to purchase a cabin sized aircraft that we can use to go between the countries with more ease. I still need to find a pilot, however."
He made a thoughtful expression as he pondered this. He could always learn how to operate it himself, but with his one bad eye, that wouldn't be a good idea. He could be directing the thing towards a wall and not even know it until it was too late.

He staid quite listing too his brother. He understood he was just worried about him but the idea of being in a place he hardly knew alone for so long did not sit well with him. "I'll think about it....Maybe I'll go when the new school season starts."
He replied, best to start at the beginning then joining in a awkward in between time..Though, he still wished not to go. The low grumble thunder could be heard far in the distance, He started counting in his head to tell how far away it was watching for some lighting.

"It wouldn't hurt to go sooner and just look around. Get a feel for the place." Saul suggested. He understood where Thorn was coming from, even if he was sure that there was the ulterior motive of stalling underlying it.
Saul saw the lightning too, and was sure that Thorn was now absorbed in counting to judge it's distance. After the rumble of thunder, he'd speak up. "We had best make our way home. I am most fond of storms when I am not out in the middle of them." He smiled lightly and turned to go, pausing to see if his brother was going to follow.

"I suppose." He replied to his brother, after he finished getting up putting his hat on, smiling at his brother following after them with a slight chuckle.
"Indeed~ Much more interesting inside. then out where you're a walking lighting rod." he chuckled getting beside his older brother. He started counting again once he saw another lighting bolt, thunder came much faster that time. "I think we should hurry on that." He added.

"I must agree." Saul chimed in as he too noticed that the storm was getting closer. Picking up the pace, he went at a slight job, slowing down only enough so his brother could keep up.
Luckily enough, they'd get back home just before the sky split open and the rain began to pour heavily. "That was lucky." He admitted as he opened the front door and ushered Thorn inside, stepping in after him.

"Very" he added stepping inside, he glanced around their place, slightly before taking his hat off, he was sure to put that in his room for later, but in till then fixing up that clockwork him and Serina found in the dump was occupying his mind.
"Hmmm" he mumbled thinking about it. Then turning red remembering the idiocy that had happened with that one question that had been asked, causing him to rub his nose bridge.

Taking his own coat off, Saul hung it on the rack by the door and stepped inside, turning his head to look around. Thorn wasn't likely to remember, but he could recall when he was little, his parents sitting in this very foyer, talking happily and greeting him warmly when he walked in the door.
Smiling softly at the pleasant memory, he turned back to look at Thorn. "So, how's your girlfriend doing?" He asked casually, clearly trying to pick on his sibling.

[[OOC: adfindfnb when did you post this D: I never saw it, I sorrys]]
"She's not my girlfriend" Thorn replied looking to his brother with a look and glare combination though the blush on his face was more then making him look silly.
He didn't really remember much from then up to what happen, He had dissociated with the memory's from the event as a way to try and keep himself from losing it in those times.
