Andy was perfectly comfortable just leaning his head on Loki as she looked out at the ocean. He gazed out with half lidded eyes, wanting to just lay down and snooze, but he couldn't do that yet. There was much work to be done.
Maybe that's why he could relate to Loki. both of them did many things wrong, they grew up in a less than stellar situation, and they grew up crooked and broken. Maybe, deep down, Andy wants to live a normal life. Who knows?
"Yeah, my family." He spoke up. "I've done some... questionable things and I have two sons as a result. Though Sine was intentional, we were wanting to move away from Dula before we got separated. Found out from Cepheid and Sine herself that there is a son out there." His voice dropped and he growled. "As for Sine I could care less. She's married to someone else and has a 'normal' life. Without me."
He paused. "Reuben is the other son. You might see him from time to time. He's not too bad of a kid."

Loki listened as he talked about Sine. She assumed the way he talked about her, that she was an ex partner, and that things hadn't ended well. She shrunk slightly when Andromeda growled, but did squeeze his arm comfortingly, since he seemed upset. Loki would keep clear of the subject of her then. Loki didn't want to agitate him about it further.
She was surprised to hear that he had kids though. Loki hadn't expected that one. But then again, aboard the Starcrash, she had learned to expect the unexpected. Especially when it came to Andromeda.
"Reuben huh?" Loki asked. "Do you see him often?" she asked curiously.

Andromeda would allow that comfort. Right now, he just wanted to move on and forget about it. He had people he loved aboard the Star Crash anyway. He'd wrap his arm around her, standing there, enjoying the sun... and breeze. Oh right. Reuben.
"I see him on occasion. He's been trying to find his half brother in Seria. So I've been helping him. Apparently I have another son there but hell if I know where he is." He murmured.
"... Do you have any siblings? Family?" Good question.

Meanwhile, Loki was blissfully unaware that the child she had been walking with the other day, was the brother that Reuben had been looking for.
Meanwhile her Rper screams in frustration that Loki can't directly help, and wants to smack her over the head with a baguette while settling with this.
"I see...Reminds me of another little boy I found back in Alfya. Poor boy was homeless too. Apparently his brother flew off to Dula a while back." Loki said sadly. She hoped little Caden was doing okay, and that he had been getting to shelter on time.
Andromeda asked her about her family. She shook her head. "Nah. Was an only child. The parents are buried in the Dula Prison cemetary and... even I'm not stupid enough to try and break in there." Loki responded, looking down over the side. "I had childhood friends. But even they ended up dissapearing eventually." She explained

Poor kid. Of course, Andy had no way to know that was Caden, or that Reuben would have found him around the time now. Well, the poor kid might cope, especially if he was friendly and appealing enough. He'd take a deep breath. Would he have been a pathetic street urchin too?
"Hope the kid copes." he murmured. Of course Andy looked down at her in curiosity. Only child, and her parents died... and all her friends disappeared? Wow... Loki really had nobody.
"What friends are there in Dula, anyway?" He spoke, a bitter tinge in his voice. "... The people on this ship, and my sons are all that I have left."

Loki leant against Andromeda and nodded in agreement about hoping that Caden was coping okay. "So do I..." she murmured, looking down over the side, watching various ropes dangling and blowing in the wind below them.
Loki had made do with the years of loneliness. There were people here and there in Dula, but none she could really rely on. It was every man and woman for themselves there.
Loki cocked her head to the side and raised her eyebrows when Andy asked what friends there were in Dula. "What indeed." she sighed.
Andromeda then spoke of his sons, and the crew being all he had. "That's quite a lot if you think about it." Loki replied, leaning her folded arms on the side.

Andy would look out, wondering if his sons were okay. He knew Reuben could handle himself, but that other son? He didn't even know. Either way, Loki agreed with him about the lack of friends in Dula, and that he actually had a lot of friends.
"I could have gone for friends like these when I was younger." He murmured. His beginning life was so lacking, it kind of was sad to him. Well... for now he'd try and not think about it. He had a better life now, despite all of what he did.
"Well, forget about that. I should head back in before the girls get bored and ransack something."
