<sub>Nerys gave Ceph a worried glance when he flinched, but she dressed the wound right up. She'd been around Dani and Selena to know how to anyway and it was basic how to. She would gaze at his injury as he spoke up. Well, if he says that then it must be true anyway.

"Well it's dressed now." Though, as he spoke up, just lavishing all that attention on her now, she shuffled modestly and peered up, her one eye visible through her bangs.

"Your welcome, b-but..." She stammered quietly. "Don't you always do that for those you care about? I-I mean..." She went quiet, but then looked back up and gave him a generous smile. "I have everything I need. Why should I ask for anything?"</sub>

When Nerys looked at him, worried, he gave her a reassuring grin. It just stung a little, it was normal!

Meeting her gaze, Cepheid simply smiled back and held her closely, simply chuckling warmly as she stammered around his compliment. You had no idea that the more you spoke, the more enamored this man became with you, Nerys.

Leaning back some so he could look her in the eyes, Ceph gently brushed the hair over Nerys's eye aside so he could get her full gaze. "You are a beautiful woman, Nerys, outside and inside; I just want you to know that. I'm lucky to have won the heart of a woman like you."

Being a typical lovestruck male, he couldn't get enough of her, so he leaned down and went to kiss Nerys once more, wanting to let this one be longer and deeper than the others, now that hopefully they wouldn't be disturbed.

<sub>Nerys was being doted on, and she had no idea how to react at first. It's not every day her estrogen kicks in, give her a break Cepheid! She's just looking cute, as she always is. Granted, Cepheid was shirtless, and Nerys just couldn't stop blushing. Should she tell him to back off? But then he'd be mad... Plus she kind of liked the attention. And they were alone... with just themselves and their love for each other.

"Well, I'm lucky to have a tall, dark and handsome guy like you." She'd let him brush the hair out of her eyes, so now there wasn't just one pretty eye looking at him, but two! Nerys looked into Cepheid's eyes, just wanting to drown in that green gaze, that is before she found herself being kissed, and it was a pretty deep kiss.

Nerys wrapped her arms around him, letting herself just go with the flow and entangle herself with Cepheid, kissing back. No interruptions this time...</sub>

Ceph wasn't aware of how much time had passed, but after a while he pulled back and smiled at her. "We had best get back to the Star Crash, before people come looking." He said. "I think we're both getting tired of being walked in on."

Releasing Nerys from his grasp, he reached over and put the new shirt on, struggling slightly with getting his bad arm through the sleeve. Owwww.

Once the shirt was on by whatever method, Ceph would take the older shirt, jam it in the small bag of tools he was bringing across, and after making sure Nerys was ready, made his way across with the burden first, ready to steady Nerys when she got across.

Finally, when they were both on the other side, he left the items on the side of the hallway and walked with Nerys to the kitchen. He was feeling pretty hungry now.

<sub>Nerys pulled back as well, nodded, and then helped Cepheid by whatever methods she could help with. As soon as he was done, she would help him across, detach him from the zipline, and then walk over to the kitchen. Godwine was halfway through eating her share, Daniela was also present, and Selena wasn't around.

"About time, what were you two doing?" Godwine spoke up, finishing the last of the news in the paper. Dani rolled her eyes at Godwine, knowing the situation, but not willing to tell her.

"His injury had to be dressed." Nerys spoke. It was the half truth anyway, plus, it pleased Daniela greatly, from the look on her face, she brightened up... before sneezing.

"How about your flu symptoms, Nerys? Mine's going down but still sneezing." Dani sounded stuffed.

"Better. I still have fits..." Nerys would get two bowls and fill them up for both her and Cepheid.</sub>

"Hello ladies." Ceph greeted as he stepped into the kitchen. Thankfully, it seemed that Nerys had their alibi covered, and she wasn't even lying. They were just leaving out the makeout session.

"How'er you all feeling?" He asked as he glanced at Nerys filling two bowls. "I don't envy Andy at all. Has he eaten yet?" Was the annoying twin brother going to have to bring a tray to him? He really hoped Andy didn't get sick, there was no telling how sour the guy would get if he felt like hell.

<sub>Godwine would smile up at Cepheid, quite pleased with the alibi they had. Well it was true, all of them had been sick, and Dani would speak up for the twin brother. After all they all had concern for Andy if he did get sick, and he was a pretty damn grumpy sick man.

"Selena gave him some soup. He should be okay for now. So's the rest of us." She spoke up. Godwine nodded and yawned, finishing off her food.

"Same here. I took some of the medicine. You should too, Nerys." She looked at her. No need for them to lengthen their sick days anyway!

"Yes." Nerys would take the medicine and down it, or at least the recommended dose, screwing her face up. Bleh, medicine. She hated it.

"How's your arm, Ceph?" Dani asked.</sub>

"Glad to hear that." Ceph said as he sat down, glancing to Daniela. "I'll check on him later on." When Godwin mentioned the medicine, Ceph picked up the bottle and put it next to Nerys. Thankfully, she drank it, and the face she made at it forced Ceph to make an effort not to grin. That was a funny face you just made, dear Nerys.

He turned to look back at Dani, part way through taking a sip of his soup. "Aches, but it's healing. It doesn't hurt as bad as it did before. Hopefully I should be able to use it again in a month's time." He smiled and gently rubbed at the crook of his shoulder and neck. It was kind of stiff.

<sub>Daniela was happy to know that his injury was healing and in a month he would definitely get better. Dani wouldn't make any comments about the face Nerys made about the medicine but she couldn't blame the girl. Godwine herself would finish up her food and look at the others.

"Well I'm certainly glad it is healing. And for the rest of us. We should be fine in no time!" Dani was especially cheerful this time. Godwine would stay quiet, though.

"We'll have to help Andy out as much as we can, though..." Nerys spoke quietly, daintily nibbling on her food. She had better manners compared to Godwine or Dani.</sub>

"Yea, Andy puts up with a lot. I was talking with Nerys about this, but you think maybe once we're all back in top shape, we could surprise captain grumpysocks with a cake or something?" Cepheid suggested, wanting the rest of the girl's opinion.

He glanced at Nerys and only just noticed how good her manners were at the table. It actually made Ceph somewhat self conscious. Table manners were never his strong point, he always ate alone. He never ate while in costume because that entailed removing the mask. Aw geeze.

<sub>Nerys had finished up her meal pretty quickly, having been hungry for most of the endeavor, and she looked over to the girls as they discussed what to do with their precious captain. Dani and Godwine were pretty aware of how stressed he was.

"A cake sounds like a great idea! I'll try and sneak some ingredients on and keep space open for Godwine to hide in and pop out at the last minute." Dani seemed pretty cheerful at that prospect and Godwine nodded as well.

"I agree. It's the least we can do for his help." Godwine spoke up. Nerys herself would look around, just waiting for anything else to come up. She did agree on that idea, though she didn't have much to add into the conversation. She'd wait for an opening to pipe in, possibly.</sub>
