Caden fidgeted a little bit, but thankfully Loki dropped the topic and didn't continue to talk about how cute he was. Being called cute was such an embarrassing thing. The bells chimed and Caden blinked, looking up at the sky.

"5:00:09..." he murmured, and then looked over at Loki as she asked him where the church was.[/color]

"O-Oh! It's on th-the east s-side of t-town..." He gave her the directions to the church, which wasn't that far from where they were, actually. It would take a bit of a walk though.[/color]

"M-Miss...? Wh-What's your n-name?"

"East side." Loki nodded, still a little unsure. She wasn't particularly used to the town yet. But a walk around with the kid could help her get her barings right?

"Eheh. Everyone just calls me Loki." She answered to him when he asked her name. "What do they call you?" she asked, as she began to make a slow pace.

She looked up the the street sign, and then a nearby sign post. "This way, right?" Loki asked Caden.

Oh, Caden would be more than happy to point out various locations if she asked! Plus he knew the city rather well by now. Loki couldn't get lost if she stuck with him for the time being! He nodded, smiling as she told him her name was Loki.

"L-Loki? I l-like that n-name, it s-sounds fun! M-My name is C-Caden."

Caden continued to hold her hand, walking with her through the streets. When she stopped at a street corner and pointed at the sign to ask the direction, the boy nodded.

"Y-Yup! It n-not h-hard to f-find!"

Loki smiled down to Caden when he said he liked that name. She walked along down the street, taking in the sights, and every little nook and cranny that looked like a good getaway or hiding street.

"So. This is the theatre district huh? It's pretty impressive." Loki commented. "You don't get much like this back home. Specially not so clean at that."

Caden had probably seen it all before inside out and upside down. He'd have to put up with Loki being a tourist for a little bit.

He did like the name. Loki sounded like such a fun name to say! He could probably entertain himself by saying it all day, though that would probably irritate Loki to a certain degree, so he wouldn't. Caden hummed a little, and looked up at Loki.

"Y-Yep! Th-The shows are f-fun to w-watch, especially i-if it's on one of th-those days wh-where they l-let anyone i-in for f-free. I kn-know where all th-the secret e-entrances are, t-too!" There weren't many of those, but Caden would occasionally slip in to watch a show, and be awed.

"I-I've n-never been t-to Dula... s-so I really d-don't know wh-what it's l-like over th-there," the boy admitted.

Loki listened in. She was suddenly very interested in the mentioning of secret entrances.
"Secret doors huh? Maybe you could show me some time?" Loki said, as she looked up raising an eyebrow. If not him, then she certainly had a lead on where to explore. The refraction theatre was famous. There could be some high class goodies in there with Lokis name written all over it.

She internally giggled with joy.

When Caden brought up Dula. Loki shrugged with a huff. "It's alright. I grew up there so I kind of learned to love it in its own ways, but there's currently not a lot there for anyone."

Caden perked up upon her actually showing interest in something that he had said. Right, the secret entrances! They were incredibly fun to sneak into, and they were great getaway points! He beamed.

"Y-Yeah! I'd b-be glad t-to. Th-There's a l-lot of them in the th-theatre, s-some of them h-hidden behind paintings a-and o-ordinary walls! Th-There's probably a c-couple that I h-haven't f-found, but I kn-know a l-lot of them!"

Poor Caden had little idea that Loki planned to steal stuff using them; he just thought she wanted to get in for free to see the shows! He nodded slowly as she talked about Dula a bit.

"Oh, o-okay..."

Loki went quiet for a little, just looking back and forth. Her hands were in her pockets, rummaging around in them, and fiddling with their contents of a few wallets and bits of loose change.

"Yeah. I think that's why I ended up getting out of there. I didn't particularly want to at first, but you know. Funny how I got drunk with your dad one night. these things happen though."

Loki wouldn't pester Caden to show her the theatre. She was more concerned getting the child somewhere safe for the night.

Welp, Caden didn't mind at all that Loki was no longer in Dula. That meant that she could be here, with him! He wouldn't have met her if she had stayed in Dula, so her getting out of there was a good thing in his book!

"H-How'd you g-get out? D-Did you sn-sneak onto a sh-ship? And Andy's not my dad, he's my brother's dad. Long story." The boy had stars on his eyes at the thought of going on an airship.

All too soon, Caden would point to the church in the distance. "I-It's just d-down there~."

Loki laughed softly as Cadens eyes went all a twinkle again when he mentioned airships. "Well. Something along those lines." she responded to him. She wouldn't go in to the full details as to how she ended up getting here. There was probably a lot that happened in between that Caden may not have understood.

Then they were near the church. Loki slowed down her pace. She wasn't particularly fond of going near churches for a few personal and obvious reasons.

She would escort him outside the gates of the Churchyard, but that would be as far as she went with him.

Loki looked down.
"Well. You take care. I don't usually say this but... behave yourself okay?" Loki smiled to him.

That was more than enough for Caden to be completely fascinated with whatever story she would have fed him (even if it was complete fibbing). She had been on an airship! That was the coolest thing ever! Why hadn't he ever gotten the chance to go on an airship, especially Reuben's airship?

Though Loki was right in that everything that had happened between her and Andy was something he probably wouldn't have understood.

Once they reached the gates of the church, Caden stopped and beamed up at her.

"Y-You too, M-Miss Loki! A-And I'll be a g-good boy, I p-promise!" She was really nice~.
