And Reuben would huff if Andy smacked him for all of that. He was a young teenage boy, it was natural for him to think about girls! But as long as messed up family trees didn't occur, and as long as it wasn't his girls that Reuben liked, Andy would likely not care. He hoped. But the topic of Loki was not gone, and it was just family drama now. Whoo.
"Father would have slapped me, yes, but you were right on that, I probably wouldn't have taken it too kindly if you had hit me that night." It would have made matters worse considering his inebriated state of mind. "I don't want to know them anyways. I had two perfectly good sets of grandparents growing up, and I don't need a third from what you've said."
He couldn't help but give a small, weak smile at that. "It's Nerys. That was the only reason she did mention it when she did. I'm not forgetting them anytime soon, but at least I don't have to worry about it happening again."

Andy would have to agree with Reuben on that statement. Girls! They always raise a man's testosterone levels. Probably why he keeps them around. Makes him feel tough anyway. Either way, Andromeda was rather amused at that statement.
"They weren't good parents. They certainly wouldn't be good grandparents. At least mine." He shook his head. He then closed his eyes and then spoke up again.
"Speaking of Nerys, guess who's dating her?"

It would make for some incredibly awkward father-son interactions if the two of them went after the same woman. That was a fight that neither of them needed to get into. Reuben hadn't really noticed girls when he was younger, but he was beginning to notice them now. He was just too shy to actually approach them.
"Likely. Oh well."
He raised his eyebrow as Andy mentioned that someone was dating Nerys. What. He stared at the man, surprised that he would even allow someone else to date her.
"Who?"

Andy looked over to Reuben. Right, well not much else to say, so he was just silent, that is until Reuben asked who it was. Damnit, Reuben didn't even think to guess his brother. He took a deep breath and then spoke up, a bit deadpan.
"My brother. It's weird, I know." Indeed it is, but Andy trusted Cepheid with his life. If there was anybody Nerys was allowed to date without Andy killing the guy, it was Cepheid.
"He pulled a logic card on me. After all, who do I trust more than him? Nobody, really."

Reuben blinked. His brother? Well, that explained why the person that was dating Nerys was still alive. He knew that Andy was possessive over his girls, and wouldn't allow just anybody to be dating them. Especially Nerys, who was like a sister to him, and in a weird way, she probably was a sister of sorts.
"...Somehow, I should have been expecting that. Why else would the person still be alive?" He sounded a bit amused at that.
"Then again, from what I know of him, your brother has a way with words."

Andy stood up, feeling like he's pushed his time limit. At least now he knew that Reuben was okay and he'd talked to him a little bit more. he could keep doing this. Maybe. It was his son; he was entitled to annoy him as much as possible.
"You'd be surprised. My bro's pretty damn good at what he does, despite his awkwardness around people when he isn't acting. He's slowly adjusting though." He grinned. "I'm happy for him."
Andy scratched his head. "I feel I've overstayed my welcome though. I have to get back. Take care of the girls." He was already feeling a bit tired, and there was that gnawing in his stomach.

Reuben stood up as well, realizing that this conversation was probably going to be ending really soon. The other had to be getting back to the girls, and it was probably best for Reuben to not be associated with him as often.
"Well, I know he's a good person..." It was still weird for him to think of the Star Man as his uncle, and the fact that he wasn't actually related to Isaac at all.
"Yeah, you should probably go, before someone sees you here. Plus they're sick with the flu. Take care... and don't forget the milk." He was not drinking out of that milk carton anymore.

Andy would look over to Reuben when he spoke. Well, Reuben has a good uncle, far better than his own biological father. He'd enjoy that for a fact anyway. Andromeda put his hand on the kid's head, looking down at him.
"You take care as well." He'd yawn as he grabbed the milk and then walked out the door, holding his hand up in a bit of a wave.
"Hope you see your brother soon."

That was true. The Star Man wouldn't actually be a bad person to be related to, at all, though it was interesting how both Andy and Cepheid were identical twins. Identical in appearance, completely different in personality, outside of devotion to each other and such. Reuben blinked as Andy put a hand on his head.
"Alright, I'll do my best."
That was... odd, yet nice at the same time. Andy waved at him, and Reuben actually waved back to him.
"Thanks, and good luck with finding my half-brother."
